A bit rundown, in our room cockroaches and no window. But Lilli was very nice, we could change our room to a room with window but a bit smelly. The tour to halong bay with elation cruise was very nice, good boat and room on the boat, nice food, mainly seafood, highly recommendable! We did two days one night.

Great hostel. Really friendly staff. I was having breakfast and this woman was talking about trying to find a good place for bun bao when the morning receptionist walks over and gives her hers. In addition, the facilities are great for a little hostel. My only gripe is the lack of free parking overnight but that seems to be a problem specific to Hanoi.

We found this hostel a great place to stay. it was very close to the old quarter and very accessible to everything we wanted to see. David gave us great tips on where to eat and drink and also on other actitivtes. We found the staff to be very friendly and accomodating.

Fantastic hostel! In particular the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Lily was just great. She is very knowledgeable about Vietnam and helped me to organize all my tours. Thanks Lily! Also, the hostel is flexible if you need to make changes to your reservation. Location and atmosphere is great as well. Last but not least, there is a free breakfast and always fresh fruits, coffee and tea available. Highly recommended if you want to stay for a few days in Hanoi!

Staff were excellent - they helped us with money exchanges, tour bookings, and luggage storage. And, gave us tons of advice. Everyone spoke great English too! The room was spacious and clean. The location was good: you can walk to the train station and to most sights within the city.

Really easy to meet fellow chill backpackers here. Not the party hostel type crowd, but just really great people.

Enjoyable experience here, close to a lot of the Hanoi attractions and good eating locations. Rooms are comfortable and clean, though some may be a way up stairs. Breakfast is provided, along with coffee and tea the whole time. Staff are friendly, personable and accomodating and will help out with directions, taxis and general information.

Excellent hostel, friendly helpful staff always ready to help. They recommended a Halong bay cruise for us and it very thing they promised and more. Also knowledgeable regarding things to do in the surrounding country side and in Hanoi its self. The hostel is very well situated and the free breakfast is worth the stay alone. Little extras like free tea/coffee and fresh fruit all day give a nice relaxing warm atmosphere when planning your next more in Vietnam. Will definately be back

I love this hostel! Definitely the best place I've stayed in my 3 and a half months of travelling. I always recommend to fellow travellers when they plan a trip to Hanoi! The staff are so friendly and help with absolutely everything, they make you feel at home, always take the time to speak to you, ask you how your day was etc.rooms are very clean, locker cupboard for each guest, the breakfast and free fruit/tea and coffee all day is fantastic! Thank you little Hanoi for a great stay!!

The staff is really helpful. They helped almost everything! They gave safety warnings before going out at night and before joining those tours. When we got back from a tour in the early morning, they provided free breakfast , local fruit and drinks. And also helped us to check-in early. One of the best experience of staying in hostels I had. Definitely recommend it!

We stayed here for three nights, with a break in between stays so that we could go on the Halong Bay Dolphin Tour. The staff were extremely helplful in recommending places to eat and which tour groups to go with. The location is excellent - right in the middle of everything. The Halong Bay tour was great. Good tour guide, delicious food, and friendly staff. The hostel also provides breakfast - a choice of eggs, bread, and a variety of fresh fruits!

The lady at the front desk is the nicest and most helpful lady I have ever met. We had one day in Hanoi and she was so helpful with us for booking a tour to Halong Bay, train tickets to Sapa and also a plane ticket to Laos! She is absolutely amazing. We are also storing our luggage there while doing all of our trips from Hanoi. Would definitely recommend if you want to meet the most useful lady on earth!
