Generally ok although there was no window in our ensuite dorm so very, very damp! Internet limited, only email and maps worked on our mobiles but that might be an external authorising problem. Staff friendly and helpful but only one person spoke English.

My stay at Little Mao's was fantastic! Mostly thanks to the staff, especially Summer. Since I only had one day in Beijing she helped me arrange a day trip so I could get the most out of my day and made it a day I'll never forget! The staff was very friendly and I'll definitely stay there again whenever i'll return to Beijing. Very clean and "luxurious" hostel. Good location, next to the forbidden city and near to some lovely characteristic streets.

The hostel is situated in the center of beijing but there is nothing around- 20mi for reaching the subway door to train-, and as the "restaurant" of the hostel remains closed you have to find another solution for the dinner. Then, the room had no window and was damp as the bathroom had no window too.
