Hostelworld says:

Little Town is located in Mala Strana between Prague Castle and Charles Bridge, meaning it's easy to reach most of the city on foot. Hostelworld guests have said it is 'very easy to return to the hostel...during the day to rest or have a meal'. Visitors also tell us this 'small and cosy' hostel has 'lots of character in the building and [there are] cafes/bars/restaurants right outside'. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the premises and one traveller recommends this hostel as 'very good value for money if you go with friends or boy/girlfriend'.

Property Information:

We’re set in a historical building built in the 13th century and recently reconstructed. It’s only a few steps from the Charles Bridge, making it an amazing and attractive location - you can see Prague Castle from your window!

This building was owned also by the Miseronis, a well-known family of gem cutters who were among the most respected artisans at the court of Rudolf II. We guarantee this is a perfect location. Your trip to Prague will be complete!

We won an ‘award of excellence’ in 2012.

All of our top-quality rooms are newly refurbished and very spacious. Our private ensuite rooms have marble bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator. The private rooms with shared bathrooms only share their marble bathroom with one other room. Each private room has extra beds. The dorms have their own private bathroom and fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator.

We provide accommodation for individual backpackers, school groups, groups of friends, couples or families.

Breakfast is included in the bed price. There’s also a restaurant onsite featuring live music.

There’s free Wi-Fi throughout the building, plus Internet, free printing, a free luggage room, laundry facilities and a common room with a fully equipped kitchen, coffee machine, DVDs and TV with international channels. We also have a courtyard with a historical well and a relaxing outdoor terrace.

We’re open all year round with 24 hour reception. There’s no curfew. The building has a lift.

Tours and airport transfers can be booked at our front desk and we offer free city maps.

Nearby you can find Starbucks, Subway and the city’s main nightlife, just a minute away on foot.

To get to Prague castle, simply walk up Nerudova Street. Every place of interest in Prague is within walking distance! We’re in lesser town – a little area right under the castle and an easy/gorgeous walk across Charles Bridge to get to Old Town and other areas. This is the most beautiful and sought-after part of Prague.

We’re one of the only two budget places in the area of luxury hotels with celebrity guests like Madonna, Pink...the American embassy is situated just two buildings down from us.

If you want to experience the atmosphere of the old Prague and have all of her historical fabulous architecture at your doorstep, don't hesitate. Come to this unique place and enjoy it with us. We look forward to welcoming you!

I think what makes us special is the beautiful view of Prague Castle from our main door. The Church of St Nicholas is also just in front of our building and there's fabulous architecture all around. This is a very safe area - and one of the most high-end in Prague - with many embassies around. You can experience a typical homey central European atmosphere, drink the best Czech beer and enjoy Prague like a local! I particularly recommend people visit the tower in the Church of St Nicholas.
What also puts us ahead of the rest is our top-quality rooms. Some of them have antique furniture or marble bathrooms, with huge and sunny rooms - some of them overlooking the castle. Although we don't have wheelchair facilities, we do have a lift and spacious rooms.

Overall a good place to stay. However, why does the key deposit need to be more than two nights cost for the room? We ended up with extra Czech currency because we had no way to spend it after getting the deposit back. Other amenities were on par with other hostels. The staff seemed a bit cranky upon our arrival, perhaps it was just coincidence. For the price it was good, although these things could be easily improved.
