My friend and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Live Like a Local, never before have we been so good taken care of! The warmth and love from Richard and Marcia, the hosts, were the warmth and love of family, and we felt safe and secure. The residence is located in the Content Garden, a five minutes drive from the center of Ocho Rios, and this was one of the reasons we wanted to stay there. Its both centeral with cheap taxis, and in the heart og the locals! We loved it :)

It was a perfect stay. Everything was properly working, there was hot water, towels, ... the house is beautiful and the owners are amazing. It was a pleasure meeting them and chatting with them. I would recommend this place to anyone (not just backpackers). Excellent breackfast served in a beautiful terrace with view. Our room was really clen and nothing was missing. Simply perfect.

The house is located in the hills, which is really nice but you have to take a taxi to get to town. Richard, the owner, is a taxi driver so he drove us wherever we wanted to go, also to the waterfalls. The view from our room was stunning, the hosts are lovely and we had a great time!

We had a great stay with Richard and Marcia. They have a lovely home! The only imperfection about our stay was that their home was quite far from the center of Ochi and it was difficult to get home at night when cab service diminished. Otherwise, we had a great stay! The room was huge and the bathroom was very nice and had good hot water.

Due to a mixup with painting, I wasn't able to stay at the Hostel so I can't comment on the room. I can however vouch for how great Richard and Marcia were as hosts. They arranged alternate accommodation for me, picked me up and dropped me off and then picked me up in the morning for a guided tour. They made my stay really memorable so on that basis alone I'd recommend going and staying with them.

Things were perfect. Marcia made a great breakfast, and Richard showed me around town. I very much enjoyed my stay and if ever I'm back to Jamaica, I will definitely stay here again.
