It has a good location and most of staff are very friendly and helpfull. But, one of the double bed rooms had a ªnestª of bed bugs underneath the bed. I myself killed at least 10 of them and there were other hundreds of ªeggsª or casules...They changed my room, but that was the least they could do. I expected a minumum apoligize for the inconvenience.

I think every hostel should have lockers like Cat's. I didn't have to bring my own lock or rent one because my locker locked with my room key. So much more convenient!

I felt very secure staying at Cat's because only the people staying there could get access inside with electronic bracelet-keys

Living cats was a cool hostel, but there is no kitchen which is not ideal, push showers with no room to get changed without some public nudity! Club crawl was cool, free shots etc. amazing building and spacious rooms.

Such a great hostel - well worth the write up in Lonely Planet and the reputation I subsequently heard from people on the road.

Bathrooms were really dirty and smelly, and people very noisy specially at night, no respect for other people at all.

One night, a random Madrid citizen came into the bar (as you don't use the key card to get in from the front door) and tried to steal our drinks and then sell us dope/crack. Not very impressed - although it was crowded so it would've been hard for the staff to pick out the hostel stayers from the random people.

hostel is very beautiful! They have decent size lockers. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are kept clean and tidy but lack space- getting dressed is a challenge. Walking tour and free salsa lesson by jesus were great!! Over all a very nice hostel

it's a very nice choice to stay, close to the subway and the center of the city, the free walking tour its really good and you allways end up meeting cool people (= (y) sometimes it;s not confortable if you have light sleep because people comes back to the room late and they may wake you up by just dressing up and going to bed but thats part of the deal of a hostal, and i don't regret the time i spend there.

This hostel has great character and since it is so famous, you'll always meet interesting people here. It is also very well located and access to most important tourist locations and transport points is just a few mins walk away. The staff was very helpful too.

Well located, nice staff, cool place. We were given a map, indications and directions. In our case, small bedroom. Small is the shower, however water is really hot.

Not much to say, nice but staff is not helpful i had to ask lots of question cause instead of doing their work and informed they just assumed I will know and were bothered when I made questions.. Except from one guy the other two people there were not justifying their salary
