We stayed in a private double which was nice, however we were only given the key to one of the lockers in the room. It didn't matter much we just put everything in one.. When we arrived the first time a lady told us we had to make reservations online. When we checked in the man was nice and helped us figure out the keys. When upstairs we couldn't figure it out right away but the lovely woman mopping the floor helped us and answered all our questions. They held our luggage after check out :)

The hospitality really stands out in a great way. Friendly staff and the "hostelians" are easy to get along with. Cheap beer on tap, and the floor lobby is a great social area. I HIGHLY recommend this hostel.

Living Mad is a true youth hostel. You can tell from the decor and people. The room was okay (sufficient size), the bathroom was clean, the communal room was big, breakfast was great (many choices of bread white/wheat, munchies like donut and stuff, coffee. orange juice, cereal, milk, jams. The downside was, other guests were kinda noisy at night. But other than that Living Mad was amazing!

The staff were really disinterested and unhelpful. The locks on the doors were really difficult to work and the showers were frustratingly pants. Worst of all though the bunk beds were like planks of wood and the acoustics of the place means that noise really travels. It's a loud and busy place which is fun if you want the post school backpacker pub crawl vibe but in such a small place it's near impossible to get some shut eye!

The facilities were poor (push-button showers and no hot water in the sinks). The one roll of toilet paper in the six-person room ran out very quickly. Too loud too late at night! I like social activities, but I book a room so that I can sleep at some point. The whole place seemed geared for children who had never lived outside of their parents' home before. The common room was uncomfortably childish for a mid-20s backpacker, and packed full of children to make it extra uncomfortable.

This hostel was great. The location was right in the heart of the city, but just in a place that was quiet and away from a lot of the hustle and bustle. The breakfast in the morning was good and the staff were really friendly. The bathrooms were cleaned very regularly which was excellent. The activities that the hostel ran were also a great value for money.

The hostel was simple but clean. When I was there it wasn't the greatest place for a party but it was quiet and nice.

Staff at front desk is hit or miss. One guy just took forever to check people in and was snide with answers. But facilities and location and value all great.

The guys from reception were cold, at least I enjoyed the guy from Russia, he is cool. The bathroom was a bit dirty and shower area is so tiny, my room was not cleaned any day.

Amazing hostel! Prime location, very helpful staff. The hostel is clean, with a great atmosphere, and is an amazing spot to meet fellow travelers. The pub crawls that the hostel partakes in are quite legendary, and the free walking tours at 11am are icing on the cake. Only noticeable issues: the computers are slow, and some of the rooms may have a funny smell, although usually not. Ultimately I would recommend this hostel, and come back.

Good...quiet location...within easy walking distance of the metro and all major sights. Sometimes a bit noisy from other rooms...did not like the push button showers...

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Sergio(Sergy?) most definitely went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my stay was excellent! Many, many thanks to him.

I've Been to a lot of hostels around the world and by far this is the nicest one I've been too! I stayed in a private room, very nice, comfortable beds, hot showers and they come and clean the bathroom everyday! I peeked inside the dorm room they seem pretty nice as well. Staff was amazing! This is totally a chill out hostel not much goes on at night, but that does not mean they don' party. They have a sister hostel a block down that does all the partying (CATS) I went to 2 pub crawls.. success
