The nicest Hostel I have ever stayed it. Very nice, clean, friendly staff. They confirmed my reservations via e-mail with directions to get there as soon as I got there. The location is very good and the hostel is very cheap. Its the only hostel I found in Syracuse, but there is no need to look at any other, this one is worth it.

Our vacation was just perfect! And this hostel is 50% of success. Because it seems absolutely new: kitchen, rooms, shower, bed linen - everything. People are very kind. The hostel situated right near bus and train station and 10 minutes walk from center city. They have open terrace and delicious croissants in the morning. Highly recomend!

This hostel really has it all. My 4-female dorm room was full for all 4 days in early May. Large secure lockers provided in dorm room, towel provided, kitchen is well stocked, staff went out of their way to help me have a good time. They lent me a beach towel and umbrella free of charge. Water was always warm. Hostel is not on Ortygia, but it is nice to stay near the train and bus stations so you don't have to carry your luggage so far.

For anyone driving or riding their motorcycle on a MEGA ITALY tour...this place is EASY to find. It's quiet and in a good neighborhood. Sami is just around the corner and a good place to eat. Good food at a cheap price. They also have grocery store around the same corner! Laundry too is possible...all in all a GREAT hostel.

The staff is super friendly, helpfull the rooms are clean and nice altough the whole place looks like an Ikea store and the furniture is a bit run down. Breakfast: Croissants and old dried out toast bread. Butter available sporadically. Dirty mugs - consequence of requireing your guests to wash the dishes.I don't mind that but please at least buy a dishwasher to heat treat the dishes as it's not really hygienic. All in all the staff really tries hard but breakfast and dirty dishes was a let down.

A great hostel! Everything was explained to me upon checking in, including what specialities I should try. Very clean and the best bathroom (I shared an ensuite with an eight bed room) I have seen in a hostel in a long time. A very well stocked kitchen also and fresh croissants included with breakfast!

LOL Hostel is one of the nicest hostels I've stayed at, it is very fresh and modern. They have a great terrace, a kitchen with the basics you need to cook included, and the showers/toilets are hotel standard. It is right next to the train & bus stations. The wifi is good, and there are great spaces to hang and be sociable. Make sure you book in advance tho, or their cheapest rates will be mysteriously unavailable! Senor Sunset ---> www.TravelFree.li

Best hostel I've ever stayed in. I'm amazed that a facility as great as this, and staff so excellent, can be maintained on the relatively low room fees of a hostel -- but I'll take it! LoL is superb in every way.

This was by far the best hostel I've stayed in. The owner is obviously a perfectionist and this shows in every part of the hostel, which I would say is indeed perfect in almost every way. Syracuse is a beautiful city, but I enjoyed staying here even just to see how a hostel could be run. Only the breakfast was disappointing, however, I would gladly have paid what I did without a free breakfast.

The best hostel that I have ever stayed. It really worthed the 22 euros per night that I gave. Also the staff there was so helpful that we didn't need to look at our city guide book at all. The breakfast is more than enough for a person. It has wifi, and if you don't have a laptop with you, you can pay there to have a sit on their desktops. It is 50 meters away from both the bus and the train station, and 10 minutes walking from each, Ortigia and the catacombs. I really recommend this one.
