Security is very low, the hostel the staff only stays there until 13:30 anyone with reservation could come using the codes for the doors, no safe room for the bags after check-out (I had to leave mine in a hall unattended). No elevator and 3 floors, no good if you have back problems. The staff was almost useless, they didn't give me the password for the internet, left a sign that said "300 fee if dish weren't washed", they didn't have maps and had no idea about transportation options. Bad exp

Absolutely loved our stay and would have spent a whole week if we had more time

Great location, clean and good beds. 3 person room is actually a sort of apartment with your own kitchen. The only min point is that there was no wi-fi in that room, but then you want to be more around the city and less on Facebook, don't you :)

Great hostel, great location a brilliant map of places to eat. quite quiet in the hostel however on a main road and can be very noisy at night time.

Fast WiFi, staff only there 0900-1330 which makes check in difficult if you start early. No kitchen facilities except for a grill.

All the staffs are very helpful and nice, the location is also awesome that very close to the train station and leather market. In addition, the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms are also very good. Highly recommended!

Well located, 5 minutes away from the train station, at the street where all the other hotels are. No elevator, and the hostel is at the third floor (keep that in mind if you have luggage). The front door is always open, which is not very safe (although nothing happened). The girl at the reception was very helpful, but we barely saw anyone, always arriving late and leaving early. Rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean. It's a good cost for such an expensive city, just don't expect any luxury.

It was a very clean, small, simple place to stay for the night in Florence. We were able to use the kitchen facilities which were limited, but it did come in handy for storing food in the fridge. It wasn't a good place to meet other travelers, as there was no common room, but if you just need a place to sleep it is fine. It's on the third floor with no lift, which wasn't fun.

Thıs ıs good place. Its locatıon perfect. ıt ıs so close everywhere. Stuffs are always helpfull. When you stay Locanda Daniel, you can feel like your home.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Facility wise nothing to complain, but some rooms have worse wifi signals than other rooms. Excellent location - close to the SMN station. Supermarket, restaurants, and laundry service nearby. You manage your own security, so there's not much to say about that either.

The 89^% doesn't do it justice, it's lovely and excellent location. The view is beautiful, the street is on it's busy and not the nicest, but at least there are people when you get back! Highly recommended!

The fact that hostel staff are only available from 9-1:30 should be advertised more. It is not necessarily an issue, but if you do not check into the hostel during those specific times, you have to hope another guest will be there to let you in if the doors were accidentally locked, and explain which of the 3 keys does what, where the facilities are, etc. If you have never stayed in a hostel before, this is important help and you should be aware if you'll get it or not

Location is good - closed to the railway station and all major attractions. It is at third floor bld without lift facility. There is a small multipurpose common room - a table, chairs, an electric kettle, some bowls & plates but no sink. Nearby is a pub so It was noisy at night til 12 pm - 1 am (our room was at street site).

Wifi issues

I was only here for one night and I arrived late so I can't really comment on the atmosphere however everything else was great. I could access the building although I was out of checking in hours. It was clean and spacious and I would recommend to anyone to stay here.

This hostel was just alright. The staff were a little bit cold but not as cold as the showers! There are two really clean and quiet bathrooms with a shower in each but everytime I tried to have a shower the water was freezing. There is no kitchen bar or common room so no chance to mingle with other travelers. The place was always super clean though. All in all I wouldn't recommend this hostel, unless you just need a safe place to lay your head at night and you don't fancy meeting other people.

This is a little Hostel, with a great location un Florence. I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to this city. It is really cheap, and bedrooms are nice, CLEAN, with a lot of space to leave your things. It is like a small apartment. Staff is always paying attention to your needs, and everything is absolutely clean. There are hairdryers in the rooms and clean towels. The only little disadvantages are that it is located on a 3rd floor, no elevators, and also there are no lockers

Liked our stay at Locanda. Perfectly located in the city centre with just 5 minutes to central station. We loved the view of the roofs and the cathedral from the little balcony in the kitchen.

The hostel is a great option in Firenze, you should just be aware that there are a lot of stairs and that the reception opens 9 or 10 am, and closes soon.

This is a perfect place to stay. Small but very clean and well managed. The bed was very comfortable, washrooms were very neat and clean with hot water, a sink was there in the room as well. Excellent Wifi. Very central location, access to all visitable places by walk, many clubs and pubs around. The incharge was very nice, she provided me maps and gave me the security codes so that I can access the hostel without check in she was very helpful. I definitely suggest this place to everyone.
