It is more difficult to find, because the hostel is in a common palace with just a gold signboard on the wall. The hostel is at third floor and there isn't lift, but honestly does not care so much.. The location is perfect: near piazza del duomo and attached to S.ta Maria Novella station. I found myself very well and I hope to return.

Nice hostel, clean and very well located, close to the city center. The 3-bed dorm was very simple with just the three beds in the room, a small table and a lavatory. Most of the rooms are facing the street and it was quite noisy at night. But the beds were very comfortable and there was a small kitchen with balcony and view on the Dome. I liked the self-made map they give you where good and cheap places to eat are indicated.

I had the best view possible from my balcony! That kind of view you pay way more in Florence normally....there's a really nice bar close by, the place itself is fine. I would stay there another time, it's hard to find though if you don't know where it is...there's no sign.

Very nice hostel. They accomodate my stay despite my late arrival being outside their check in time, give me necessary information to ensure i have access to the hostel and my room. On top of it they let me leave my bag after check in.

This was a fantastic hostel to stay in! Only 10 mins from the train station and everything is easily accessible by foot! The staff were very helpful with booking tours and informative of the city

Security is very low, the hostel the staff only stays there until 13:30 anyone with reservation could come using the codes for the doors, no safe room for the bags after check-out (I had to leave mine in a hall unattended). No elevator and 3 floors, no good if you have back problems. The staff was almost useless, they didn't give me the password for the internet, left a sign that said "300 fee if dish weren't washed", they didn't have maps and had no idea about transportation options. Bad exp

Beautiful hostel and a hidden gem in Florence! If you are looking for a place you can truly take it easy for a night and catch your breath, I'd definitely recommend this one-hallway hostel over PLUS and the other large hostels. Clean, quiet, and a beautiful view of the city!

We had a VERY pleasant stay. The Staff was very helpful. Location could not be better. Could there be a notice board in the hallway or kitchen where guests can ask for companionship for onward travels or fjust to go sightseeing or going out at night? This would be great for people who travel alone. Just "brain storming"!

Great location, clean and good beds. 3 person room is actually a sort of apartment with your own kitchen. The only min point is that there was no wi-fi in that room, but then you want to be more around the city and less on Facebook, don't you :)

Great hostel, great location a brilliant map of places to eat. quite quiet in the hostel however on a main road and can be very noisy at night time.

Fast WiFi, staff only there 0900-1330 which makes check in difficult if you start early. No kitchen facilities except for a grill.

All the staffs are very helpful and nice, the location is also awesome that very close to the train station and leather market. In addition, the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms are also very good. Highly recommended!

Well located, 5 minutes away from the train station, at the street where all the other hotels are. No elevator, and the hostel is at the third floor (keep that in mind if you have luggage). The front door is always open, which is not very safe (although nothing happened). The girl at the reception was very helpful, but we barely saw anyone, always arriving late and leaving early. Rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean. It's a good cost for such an expensive city, just don't expect any luxury.

It was a very clean, small, simple place to stay for the night in Florence. We were able to use the kitchen facilities which were limited, but it did come in handy for storing food in the fridge. It wasn't a good place to meet other travelers, as there was no common room, but if you just need a place to sleep it is fine. It's on the third floor with no lift, which wasn't fun.

Thıs ıs good place. Its locatıon perfect. ıt ıs so close everywhere. Stuffs are always helpfull. When you stay Locanda Daniel, you can feel like your home.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Facility wise nothing to complain, but some rooms have worse wifi signals than other rooms. Excellent location - close to the SMN station. Supermarket, restaurants, and laundry service nearby. You manage your own security, so there's not much to say about that either.

The 89^% doesn't do it justice, it's lovely and excellent location. The view is beautiful, the street is on it's busy and not the nicest, but at least there are people when you get back! Highly recommended!

The fact that hostel staff are only available from 9-1:30 should be advertised more. It is not necessarily an issue, but if you do not check into the hostel during those specific times, you have to hope another guest will be there to let you in if the doors were accidentally locked, and explain which of the 3 keys does what, where the facilities are, etc. If you have never stayed in a hostel before, this is important help and you should be aware if you'll get it or not
