The Locanda Silva is located in the center of Venice, along a small canal, 4 minutes walking from St. Mark's Square and from the nearest boat stop (S. Zaccaria). There are 23 rooms: single and double rooms with private services. The rooms are on three floors: they have all been recently restored and are comfortable and clean. The Locanda Silva is being run by Mr. Ettore and by his doughter Sandra since 1956.

Very nice place, good location near Pza San Marco, very clean. Nice staff, breakfast is not great but it's alright. We stayed in a room with shared bathroom and shower and had no problems with that. The only problem we found was that we had booked a double room and ended up with a twin room - beds could be put together, but it was rather uncomfortable. So be sure to be specific if you want a double room. Other than that, no problems at all.
