This was the most cosy hostel we've stayed in during our Scotland trip. Wendy's kindness and stories were amazing. We loved her :)

Very friendly and helpful

Rooms were quite small and tight, but the common dining and lounge rooms were very spacious.

Stayed with my daughter in a double bed room. nice location and nice accomodation. friendly staff. good tips for things to do and to see. good atmosphere.

Friendly Staff, however rooms and bathrooms aren't very clean.

You enter hostel through a large cavernous extension with bar/eating area which had no atmosphere and the bar wasn't open when we stayed. There were some bedrooms in another new building. The kitchen, sitting area and other bedrooms/dorms were in what appeared to be the original hostel. They were dark and had an outdated 'hippy' feel.

Odd little hostel, located close to the Loch and close to a lovely pub where we had dinner. Strange vibe in the hostel, not sure how many people were actually staying there but it was all very dark and dingy, people staying there werent very keen on meeting new people. Great staff though, who gave us lots of tips about the area!! Our room was very weird, in a sort of out house with no key for the door which for us didnt feel very safe despite reassurances.

Owner Comment (Hide)
The hostel has a cosy vibe, we cannot be held responsible for the friendliness of our guests. Thank you for the positive comments on the staff. In this area we have no crime and everyone is very trustworthy, security here has never been an issue. I apologise as and the room key was taken by a previous guest we have since changed the lock and has a key.

Best if not too crowded or use facilities off peak, was only in main area, cant comment on new extension

Pretty basic hostel but very welcoming and in an excellent location

I was glad to add this hostel to my visits, it was great with very helpful staff who did things beyond the call of duty, thanks for a great stay
