Very enjoyable stay, only for one night. Arrived late, the guy on the desk was nice, good self catering area which gives you the chance to meet other guests. I met some lovely ones! I cycled up from Brodick & knew the distance so location was fine for me. Also bike storage so I could sleep easy.

Tacky charging for wifi

Very well run with a happy communal atmosphere. It was fun watching the deer and squirrels through the dining room window too! The managers were very helpful with planning our itinerary too.

A very comfortable hostel, and a nice staff!

we were hiking on arran and unfortunatley we missed the last bus (the bus service sucks btw). so we phoned the hostel and explained our situation and that we might be a little late. but they just told us that if we can't make it before 10pm we had to sleep on the street. thanks a lot for that! we got a taxi and we made it. but we couldn't enjoy our stay anymore. and the kitchen was very basic. not even salt and pepper...
