The staff is very nice. We're told a lot of tips. We booked the ensuite room for a couple, which is in fact an independent apartment with one bedroom, kitchen and bathroom NOT in the same building of hostel but closer to downtown. The wireless is perfect. The location is good with metro and trams. Several supermarkets, restaurants and pubs are nearby. It is highly recommended for those who want to have an undisturbed and independent holiday.

The hostel was nice. Staff was very helpful to us. Our original room had a problem, and they gave us the option to take a different room at the hostel for less money, or we could use their apartment (which they also rent out) for the same price. We took the apartment, which was a few bus stops away, but it was awesome. They had staff go with us to show us around...glad we chose the apartment! It's a little tricky to find the entrance, but once we did, we had a great time in Budapest

This Hostel does not have a very "clear" entrance but it is very cult-traditional it feels that you are in a home when you are there. The staff was very helpful and pointed out really good restaurants for me and sights I'd enjoy!!!!! Although I have to say that the pictures were nicer than what I actually found there

We came to the hostel just to catch a few hours of sleep before the morning train (since the hostel is located just 100 meters from the Kelety train terminal) and came to city after a very long flight around 1:30 AM. The girl who works there would not take anything but cash and she wouldn't take dollars (which as I remember are fully convertible anywhere in the world). So we had to go out again at 2 AM to search for a cash machine. A little more understanding and flexibility would be nice.
