It can be considered as the best place I've stayed in. The staffs over there always carry a smile over there. It's a highly recommended hostel for anyone visiting Kuching.

We stayed in a double room with attached bathroom and a big window to the street. It was very comfortable and relaxing. Best bathroom we had so far in a hostel. :) They served real Butter for Breakfast. Only the WiFi doesn\'t work in the rooms upstairs. The connection is to weak.

My first impression for Lodge 121 is the atmosphere of peace and warm. Specifically, the lighting system in hotel is good. The staffs are friendly and helpful when we were asking for information. By the way, we thought that it will be much more better if Lodge 121 can put a larger shoe cabinet outside the entrance. Thanks.

I really enjoyed my stay at lodge 121. The staff were amazing; friendly and more then happy to help out when they could. They were very knowledgeable about Kuching and the best places to eat. Thanks for suggesting Top Spot....the best seafood ever!!!! Looking forward to staying with the Lodge 121 gang again soon :)

Amazing staff. Kuching is tiny so easy to get around. stayed in the big dorm, and it was nice to not have to climb a bunk. Staff set us up with taxis and excursions nicely.

Staff was great and very helpful. Great hostel with great atmosphere. We had a private ensuite which was good, because the showers/toilets for dorms and non-ensuite were not very nice. I usually don't really care, but the mattress of our bed was not very comfortable, as you could feel the wooden floor beneath.

Absolutely seamless experience and staff were great with arranging tours. Hostel is very clean and the warm nature of staff created positive environment. I will not hesitate staying at the same place. Also, many thanks to Jair for giving me the room with window.....I really appreciated it.

Really great hostel. 10 minutes walk from everywhere in town, very helpful staff, and very nice modern layout. Only minor negatives are the somewhat simple breakfast (fairly standard for Borneo) and a small leak in our room when it was raining heavily, but overall an excellent place to stay.

This Hostel is lovely. I can't comment on the dorm as we had a private room, but all the rooms we looked at were lovely. I was ill when we arrived so it was a nice calming environment to recover in. The Lodge is close to central Kuching, you can walk to many cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, sights and the river front. My travelling companion who has stayed in many many hostels around the world said it was the nicest she has ever stayed in. Totally recommend.

Even if we blocked our WC the staff suddenly fix it up and kept being nice with us even due our gastric trouble. The staff is always ready to provide useful information about Kuching city and wild Borneo areas. Room were spacious clean and very comfortable. I really recommend this Hotel to everyone.

Staff super good, location good, only downturn is that rooms face the hallway and it can be a little noisy at night

The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. As a solo traveller, I appreciated great social environment for meeting other people. The dorm room is silent and well separated from the common area, so you will get a good night sleep if you want. Of my 2 weeks in Malaysia (around 8 hostels total), Kuching and Lodge 121 was my best experience. Thanks!

The place is really nice. The staff is so friendly you can ask them everything, from the schedule of the post office to things to see in Kuching, information about the flights in Borneo. They know it all. The common area is really friendly and you can meet a lot of people there. They have air conditioning, free wifi & breakfast, provide towels. Everything is there for you to spend a good time in Kuching.
