Lodge 121 is a very nice and clean hostel. The staff was very helfpful and friendly. Included tea and coffee in the price is a very nice gesture :-) Only at breakfast they could offer a second type of marmalade or chocolate cream/ peanut butter for the toasts. The hostel is about less than 5 minutes walk from the waterfront and it is very easy to find everything with the map provided by the the hostel at arrival. Would go there again :-)

Excellent service during booking & during our stay. Every one was very helpful & we were given clear directions & recomendations to all the tourist spots....saved us a lot of money & time. We felt very much at home & it was nice to meet fellow travellers. Thanks to Jais & his colleagues..

Very friendly and helpful staff, speaking good English. Good location, just a few minutes from the Kuching waterfront. The guys at Lodge 121 give info about excursions, restaurants, taxis and everything you need to know. A place worth recommending.

veyr clean comfortable rooms and lovely people

We defenitely enjoyed our stay at Lodge 121. The guys who own it and the staff are great! It was a bit to walk from the waterfront, and the breakfast could have been a bit less basic (they tell you at check-in though, so you can buy your own add ons at the supermarket down the street) - but they always smile, took good care of our stuff while we went to Bako and they also aranged all our transfers. My travel buddy says: ask for a room further back if you have a light sleep, street can be noisy.

Lovely staff and a new building. Shared bathrooms not as nice as room with ensuite, but well priced. Enjoyed our stay.

Stayed in the 10-men shared dormitory and it was very clean, air-conditioned, and the mattress was very comfortable. There's cable tv, lots of bathrooms and places to relax in (though I just lazed in my very comfortable mattress haha) Very outstanding hostel indeed. And the staff has been ever-helpful and very friendly indeed. Very, Definitely, Extremely, Highly Recommended! (gosh i seriously miss my corner)

Lodge 121 was one of the best hostels I've ever been to! The staff was so warm and the hostel was so clean! It's really in a great location too. I loved it and will definitely be going back.

What a great stay! After traveling for a long time in different hostels this was doubtless the best place ever. Warmly welcomed by the great helpful staff. The rooms are very clean and quiet. They won the hostelworldaward, we know why! You will walk in as a guest and leave as a friend!

Great place to stay and the staff were beyond helpful. nothing was too much for them. The distance to the waterfront is not too far and it was quiet at night. If you feel like a big feast I suggest 'The hornbill 11' steamboat restaurant not far from Lodge 101. all you can eat for 18 ringgit. Hire a boat and head up the river to cool off if you have time.about 30 ringgit per boat one hour.
