Excellent apartment! Poor wifi in the room that was the only downfall, room was not cleaned in the 5 nights we stayed there, no clean towels or bedding left. Kitchen area was so useful and always clean, kinda just clean up after yourselves and so did everyone else! Not much atmosphere with everyone doing their own thing but the other guests were always friendly when we did meet. Would definitely stay here again, although they were not to clear on where we had to check in and we had to call.

The location of the hostel is very nice. As you have probably already read there are a lot of stairs and since I knew it up front I will not complain about it. The hostel has a gorgeous roof terrace and a great kitchen / living area. Our room was clean. However, the bathroom was not. This is probably the only complaint I can think of but the dirty bathroom lowered the quality of our stay quite a bit.

Great location and good price. Nice kitchen to use, one shared loo and shower up a teeny tiny stairs! Good character though! Again, MANY flights of stairs- be prepared- no heavy luggage! Comfy beds though, with a little bit of noise from the street. Not much atmosphere in terms of other guests, but good for a quiet break.

We stayed for 3 nights in the private room which we found to be sizeable (though it was located in the eaves with restricted head room... this did however add to the charm as it is a 400 year old building); clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is one of the best factors as you are moments away from the central station and the town centre. The kitchen and bathroom are both clean and modern. All in all, we would thoroughly recommend The Loft Gallery (if the 100+ stairs don't put you off)!

Wonderful place, great location and super cool loft with great views. Great communal kitchen and chill space, but the bathroom was inconvenient to get to and smelled weird.

The good: located in an ideal location, can walk to Anne Frank house & red light district. The rooms are clean and have a beautiful view of the city. The bad: you need to be able bodied to stay here-- 7 flights of stairs to the top. You don't have access to a personal toilet, you share with the rest of the loft. And the word "loft" is a bit generous, it's more like a tiny attic. Plus, we couldn't get any wifi in the room.

The shared space was fantastic, especially the balcony which was good to relax on when the sun was out. The room itself is very basic however, probably why they don't have pictures up of them. The pillows are like sleeping on bags of cotton wool balls so i would definitely recommend bringing your own, and the room doesn't have blinds on the windows which was a bit of a pain when the sun came through in the morning. Overall good but not excellent, reflects the price.

If you do not mind the stairs, this is a nice hostel, I would recommend it to anyone, fair price, really nice kitchen, good room, great balcony with a view. One nice to have would be black curtains to block sun in the morning :)

We stayed Standard Double Bed Private room. It was nice and big. Kitchen and balcony were fabulous. Great location. I will recommend it to my friends.
