I never leave a bad reference but in this case I make an exception. Worse service ever! They made us pay twice as much for the room! Not 65 Bolivianos but 130 Bolivianos per person for a crappy room with lots of noise for that kind of money you can better book a hotelroom. When I explained to them that we had paid 130 Bolivianos instead of the usual 65 because they made a mistake on the Bill they refused to give the money back which was a Total of 200 Bolivianos that the hostal overcharged/stole
This hostel needs a big dose of efficiency! Expect to wait a really long time for everything from breakfast to asking a question at reception! I liked the lockers with plugs in them in reception, but no plugs in the rooms, also no lockers for bags. Showers were hot, rooms pretty cramped with everyone's stuff and wifi is terrible, but seems to be the case in Bolivia . Great if you want to party, ask for a lower level though room if you want to sleep!
Excellent location to discover la paz but no breakfast although advertised, no kitchen but their restaurant is good. Ask to not be on the 5th floor as you hear all the music from the bar/restaurant. Be ready to speak english as even the staff talk to you in english and not spanish ! Beds are comfortable, shower is hot and they have happy hour at the bar !
Huge hostel right in the heart of La Paz. All rooms (including dorms) have ensuite bathrooms, but some of them are quite crowded, one bed less would have been better. There is a big common area with computers and a travel agency in the house. From the bar on the 7th floor you get a great view over the city and cheap drinks/food. The closer to the bar your room is, the more noise you get during the night. Just bring some earplugs if you want a couple hours of rest.
The staff is very very nice and helpful, especially the manager, Dre. We love Dre. If you're a light sleeper you shouldn't be staying in the rooms on the higher floors, you hear the music all night. But we liked this hostel, it's in a good location and the rooms were okay. A lot of computers with fast internet. Great view from the bar.
When I checked in there was still rubbish in the bins and on one of the beds. It's a large hostel which as a single traveller made it a bit hard to meet other people because most were already there in groups.

The staff is very nice. There are no lockers in the 4 bed female dorm. Bed is confortable and there is free tea and coffee (with milk) all day, which was a plus.

Good hostel. Really nice staff. Bit of a party hostel but that brings a good atmosphere
Don't go there for the wifi (it never works) or for the kitchen (there's NO KITCHEN, in a hostel, hello?!?). Other than that, it's allright. Clean, well loccated and helpful staff. Noisy though. Definitely bring earplugs.
Loki is such a fun place to stay.. We kept extending our time here! The staff are beyond helpful. The rooms are great and I love that each from room has its own bathroom ( cleaned daily). The food is yummy and the 3 happy hour sessions catered well to our drinking needs 😜 best location for markets!!
Average good hostel with many rooms. Bad things: The wifi does not work on the rooms which is bad. For a building with 7 floors, 1 elevator is not enough at all... And the case gets worse when it does not work many times.
Good hot showers and room is comfortable. Wifi is vexingly slow and intermittent. Even though breakfast isn't include it is reasonably priced and there is a really nice outlook from the bar. We knew it was a party hostel going in so we weren't bothered by noise. The lower floors are fine but the higher you get the more you will be involved in the party.
Great location and amazing view from the bar up top. I now know this is a big magnet for Israeli travellers (about 80% israeli when i was there). So it affected the atmosphere a bit as I dont speak Hebrew. I would stay elsewhere for that reason as other places would be more fun for everyone.
Very noisy party hostel! Not for people who want quiet place to relax
great location and bar, although im not sure the "value for money" was so great - breakfast wasn't included, wifi was sketchy and there weren't any lockers in the room i stayed in :( however! i enjoyed my time here and met some nice people and managed to get some sleep too!
Good hostel . Tons of people which means that there are plenty of people to meet but also may mean more cliques to breakthrough . Wifi is terrible here but the computer desktops work . Drinks kind of expensive . Clean rooms and bathrooms . Staff very friendly and helpful
We meet many nice people here and had a great time in La Paz, the staff was very helpful and nice, our room clean and the showers were really nice and hot!! The wifi didnt work very well, but they have many PCs to use, so it was okay. There is a party every night on the rooftop which we joined every now and then, but still were able to sleep the other nights. I loved the free tea section and the views from the rooms! Even the airport pickup worked out perfectly! I missed a kitchen though!
If you like to party this is the place to go, their Bloodbombs are amazing! Good food, good location and very clean. Only downside is that the wifi is poor, not enough lockers and there's no kitchen. But overall a very nice hostel!
