They give everyone a tab upon checking in, which covers food and drinks. A great idea, but it gets some people in trouble especially since they don't take credit cards. The bar is a great hang out spot. It gets a little noisy at 2am when the bar closes. Very clean and the cleaning staff work 18 hours a day to keep it that way. Guard at the door 24 hours a day. Lockers with electrical outlets so you can safely charge your devices. Great value for the money!!

Decent hostel, good beds. Shower was alright and I'm sure if you stay long enough you can meet a lot of people. Breakfast the standard of everywhere else, bar at WR is probably better. Staff very friendly and appreciate it if you try out some Spanish as you don't get that much at Loki :)

Pity you can't lock the room door - had people not from our room come in a few times. Drunken, noisy people up on 3rd floor corridor didn't get told off at night, I'm guessing because security was down on ground floor. Because they had a full house they let some people share beds, meaning we had more people in our room than expected.

Nice hostel with great bar and restaurant. I like the fact that things are organized in the bar. But if you would like to sleep, that is possible as well. From what I have seen, the parties might be better at Wild Rover.

The hostel is quite well situtaed, only 7 min walk from the Witches Market. The hostel itself is very clean and the beds are really comfy. The breakfast is poor- stale bread and jam. If you order food off the menu it takes forever to come. They had an Israeli Independence party which was completetly insensitive and exluded the non-Israelis in the hostel. The staff were often in complete confusion about check in´s. But in generla this is probably the best party hostel in La Paz.

Good location & nice clean hostel. Not a party hostel as such, just a huge hostel with a large bar that empties at 11pm when everyone heads out or over to wild rover, only the hoards of people spewing all night are left behind. Hostel lacks any real atmosphere and is ridiculously noisy. For a party definitely head to wild rover, for a hostel with a great vibe head to adventure brew.

Great party hostel!! Good and nice bar and there's also lots of areas to chill. The rooms are pretty specious and so are the bathrooms.

There is absolutely no denying that the facilities are excellent. It had everything the backpacker needs, happy hour is a particular bargain and late check out is a god send. The music you can't really hear upstairs, the party is continuous, the breakfast though it is bread is free until 1, the food is ok, tasty but frustratingly slow service. I'm not a massive party-er so found the crowd a bit high school but for a solo traveller it definitely is social. All in all good

I wasn't a big fan of this place. Probably great if you're with a big group of people ready to party and spend loads of cash but I didn't really like crowd or atmosphere here. I also didn't like that the only real place to hang out was the bar where you had to buy expensive drinks. The breakfast was poor and the rooms dirty. Not enough power plugs and wifi coverage online in a few random, awkward places.

Excellent hostel, spacious rooms, lively bar, breakfast until 1pm, nice food and free tea all day. Helpful staff, but the most disorganised booking/check-in system ever! Make sure you tell them when you will arrive or you risk losing your booking! I arrived in the morning and told them I was here, then went on a city tour and when I got back my booking was gone! They were helpful and did fit me in and aside from this it was a really great hostel. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place with friendly staff and huge dorm beds! The only thing that disrupted the atmosphere of the place was the number of groups staying there, but that is bound to happen in large hostels. Exceptional hostel though, would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at Loki. It really is a party hostel so people were talking and singing loudly until late while I was trying to get to sleep but this is something I should have checked before I arrived. They said that breakfast started at a certain time but it was not completely ready at that time so there were no plates etc. Otherwise I enjoyed my short stay there.

We stayed at Loki for two nights and we liked it. The dorms are big and clean and they have hot showers 24/7! A big plus! The breakfast was okay and you can also order food from the meny and the food here is great (although it takes a looong time for it to arrive). However, this is a party hostel, so if you are looking for a quiet hostel than this is not the place for you.

It is a big and party hostel. Central location within a walking distance to main attractions in La Paz. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was rather poor with bread/butter + coffee and tea.
