Loki is loose

Positives: - Clean (although building and furniture so dated cleanliness didn't have same impact) - Useful your desk in reception - Good value for money and location Negatives: - Looks and feels like a dated 1970's hotel - The 'bar', is more like a university common room - Poor music is pumping from about 6pm but when no one in the bar wants it at that time - Rooms are far too over crowed for their size and with next to no plugs

It is a party hostel but I didnt like of atmosphere. common rooms with bathroom are great, bathroom get wet after a bath. staffs were good, location is excelent. there is lockers in reception and in the rooms.

Very nice hostel!

It's a party hostel. What does that even mean? There's a DJ on 6 nights of the week playing bad music (think Top40, Pitbull etc.) too loud from 10PM to 2AM. Impossible to have a conversation. They also throw (tacky) costume parties on many nights, for example Pirate, Toga, UV themes. Facilities are fine, security is top notch, and they also have safe radio taxis always in front of the hostel. Location is the best in town. You decide.

Great helpfull staff especially while giving advice on the city and booking trips. Very clean. Great atmosphere very lively tons of poeple around but still safe and secure.

Good central hostel in La Paz. Restaurant is 50/50 so would recommend venturing out into the city for breakfast especially...

I stayed in a private room which was absolutely fantastic, more like a 4* hotel room then a room in a hostel. Staff were professional and friendly and bar had a good atmosphere for meeting people although it was a tad expensive. One of my favourite party hostels though

It has an elevator/lift in the hostel... it's important when you are in La Paz... altitude >3000m

You can get lost in the Loki world and not leave for days. Super fun hostel, good food and drink, comfy beds and amazing night life.

More like a hotel then hostel. Parties upstairs on weekends. Has everything there, so as not to leave the hostel. If you want to meet locals and see the city, maybe pick somewhere else. If you want to hang out drinking with gringos, it's a good place and Wild Rover. The staff are like military police, I had my own private 2 bed room and was treated like someone trying to break into the President's Palace when I had a local Latina on my arm. Only Israel understood customer service.

Huge, tightly run hostel. Great view from the 7th storey bar. Rooms very clean and 2 bathrooms in a 10 bed dorm. Recommended. Keep in mind you can get better prices for the tours offered on the bottom floor.

Great party hostel, really helpful reception staff when I had problems with my bank card - they even loaned me money against my bill as a last resort. Food decent, mad bar at night, great location.

Party hostel

Hostel facilities were nice and it felt more hotel than a hostel. Travel agency was a big miss. Not so good service and over priced.

Cancelled reservation so can't comment

Loki is fabulous. Best things about it; atmosphere, liveliness, helpful staff, comfortable beds and secure lockers, clean bathroom/showering facilities. I stayed in 4 person dorms; not sure how the 6-8-10 people dorms are, but the 4 person dorms were great. Only negatives were that wifi is only really functional on the ground floor and being on the 5-7th floors can be insanely loud (by the bar!) so sleep can be compromised. I didn't have this issue. Over all, very happy!

Good hostel for drinking . Loud in some of the rooms if u are not . No kitchen but has a bar/resterant it gets very loud in there but has a good atmosphere if u are wanting to party.

Such a fun party hostel... the bar staff really make this place. It was the bar manager's birthday when I stayed and we had soooo much fun!!! Rooms and bathrooms serviceable, no lockers in rooms and wifi sucks throughout the building, not available in rooms which is annoying. But the bar is so much fun, and the food's great, and I had an awesome couple of nights playing pool and doing shots here. Definitely worth staying here if you want to be social and make awesome new friends!

Not enough lockers in the 10 bed dorms, only tiny lockers as well, ridiculous. Could easily have bunks with lockers under the beds. Internet is pathetic everywhere. Only 4 computers for the entire hostel, very poor. Mattresses are old and saggy, all need to be replaced. Good value, good bar. Average, not overly friendly staff. Good location
