The check in was a bit slow but after they'd documented everything and tagged us we were given a thorough tour of the facilities. The place is clean, the water is hot and the internet isn't bad. Its a pretty social hostel and the bar serves great food, but equally it was quiet in our room if we wanted some peace. I really enjoyed this hostel and I would definitely stay here again.
This is more of a party hostel than a true 'backpackers' hostel. Its really good for popping though cities and having an immediate group of friends and convenient activities. However, the onsite tour agency's prices are way over market...shop around.
Amazing partyhostel, good wifi, hot showers, free breakfast and nice menu with reasonable prices
Ridiculously noisy even though they have signs everywhere saying no noise after 10, it's more like 12/1am. False advertising too because we booked 7person female dorm but they only seemed to have 9bed female dorms (which aren't advertised) and when we enquired why we were in with more people we were told that's all they had despite us booking well in advance. 9females and one small bathroom meant no hot water if you weren't the first one in the shower. 2 mornings in a row there was no water!
Great location, staff and very happy place! :)
A nice hostel to stay in. Clean, large and comfy dorms. Nice bar and roof terrace.
The staff ia not very informative, not helpful with The tours, bus time. They say: Didn't know for everything!
Great bar, restaurant and atmosphere! I don't envy the cleaners - they had their work cut out for them but the place was always in good shape. Big room and great having the tour agency next door.
Good sfaes at reception, but only small lockers in the rooms, we had 4 in a 5 beds room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Whether you will like the hostel depends on what you prefer: it's a pure party hostel, very unpersonal, you will only hear people speaking english, no spanish, also only english music. The bar is quite nice, but there is no real space where you just can sit down for a moment besides it. The PC room consits of 4 PC, one is broken, one always shuts down. Very clean.
Most of the staff are good and helpful. The breakfast staff seemed lazy and more interested in texting on their phones than taking orders. The showers are hot and have decent power and the hostel is extremely clean. The bar is good fun but I found it was maybe to big. I found it hard to meet people there. Wild Rover was much friendlier. One thing that this hostel drastically lacks is decent chill out areas. They have a quiet zone with one couch! The food in the bar is good though and cheap.
Cheap place and a good time, but with odd cleaning hours for cleaning rooms (7.30AM) in a dorm.
nice hostal...hot showers, good breakfast and clean. Would definitely recommend it
Very nice hostel. But it can be a little noisy when there is party in the bar... Anyway, I would stay there again.
the reception is always busy. grateful tt they give us a room 2hrs after we arrive. for the extended night, we need to chase for the next room, and the wifi is not working for the day. it is better to stay higher floors.
Very well organized and friendly hostel. Room were great and the meals and drinks at the bar good! I would definitley go there again.
I met quite a few people at the pool table. The atmosphere of the hostel was very sociable. Not much sleep but good party time.
Great place if you feel like partying but also a cool DVD room. Lockers in the room could have been a bit sturdier but lovely hot showers and food was great
The hostel is as good as it gets in La Paz. Good breakfast, soft beds, hot showers and a building, which is not freezing cold (rare in Bolivia). The only downside was the administration of the hostel, which was more than chaotic (putting me in the wrong room first, then finding that my bed is occupied in the other room, ... lots of chaos and many stairs to run up and down to sort it out).
