Nice lace to stay in La Paz. Didn't see too much of the (in)famous Loki spirit of craziness though. With The Wild Rover just around the corner that is no problem however.

They added a drink to my bill that I hadn't ordered. I had already read (in their guest book) complaints of this nature, so I specifically refrained from using the tab service. They might need to come up with a better way to keep track of that--it's pretty irritating to get charged unnecessarily.

Good hostel and great location... However staff were a bit obnoxious and made a big deal about the booking arrangements made. TIP: Double check your bill.... They charge you a deposit for the room key but dont tell you about it and they didnt reverse the charge - only when we checked it and told them they should reverse it did they. Also nothing against a party hostel (which this one is) - but no quite policy.... noise a bit too much from the bar upstairs everynight at around 5am!!!!!

Great party hostel. Sadly I was in La Paz to rest. Staff are awesome and very helpful. Beds are comfy and rooms are clean. Actually staff seem to always be cleaning. Hostel is spread out and I really like the atrium in the middle with the bean bags for when you are using the wifi. Bar and resturant and really good and the food is great.

Great hostel. Only downside is the number of superficial travellers staying here, but this is out of the hostel´s control. Really set up well for either a party hostel or a culture hostel. Great bar, though a bit too spread out. Staff were excellent (Nora esp.), and an owner who cares about your input. Location is safe but a bit far away from most services. Laundry is across the street and computer room needs serious improvement. Overall thumbs up! Very quiet rooms for such a party-place!

Party hostel. Cool atmosphere, chill out area. At night it was loud at the bar, but I couldn´t here it in my dorm which was quite nice. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but as usual. Would recommend it.

The staff was great save for one guy that always had a way of seeming bothered by my presence. I´m not sure why, it´s just he always seemed pissed when he saw me... and I´m not sure if I got my 50 Bol towel deposit back. I had to leave at 7, waited till 7:15 and left it on the desk. I hope he enjoys life more than I felt he was.

Hot water temperamental at times. Make sure you check out with plenty of time, the staff definitely take their time in checking you out! Rooms and bathrooms clean, could have more blankets though.

If you want a party, Loki is the place to be... with more English spoken here than Spanish, I"m not sure it's quite the "genuine" Bolivian experience, but it's a lot of fun!

Very large (number of rooms, number of guests) but I couldn't fault the place. They run a smooth ship! My first, and only Loki hostel. Would stay again. Actually breakfast is just bread but I think that probably compares to other places in La Paz. I wasn't in Bolivia for the food, so I wasn't fussed.

This place could really use a kitchen. The food they sell is okay, but the option to make your own (and save money) would be much appreciated!

Good till about 3.00 am and then it gets very messy. The staff dorm was next to mine and appeared to be a drug den. Was also woken up a couple of times by a couple in the bunk under me having their own thing. Don't start a tab at the bar either. At the end of the night I had a whole heap of drinks on my tab that I didn't order and knew nothing about

Big place, but felt a bit soulless and the partying was very contrived. Wifi was poor too

Quality of service does not math the prices they charge. 1. NO HOT WATER 2. NO BREAD AT BREAKFEST 3. short story - I ordered a meal at the bar. after an hour of waiting i cancelled the order (the girl didn´t even seem to mind), then 20 min later (over all an hour and twenty minutes of wating) the meal arrvied, I told the guy that i cancelled the order. He said ok ¨itss not my fault. the printer is not working, don´t worry about it¨ and threw away the meal instead of serving it to me or compensa

  • Nice, if a bit loud. Second floor and up is acceptably quiet.
