Stay in this hostel if you want to escape the dirty city. You'll get stuck here because of the easy going vibe. Great daily meals, but more than anything the girl managing the hostel is cool. If you've been to a Loki before it is more. Trying to build up a new chilled out spot and it's working. Pool, tennis, ping pong, pool biljart and the bus to the city right next door. They'll provide bus cards if you need it. For me the place I was looking for to kick back relax. Still here after a week.

Although this hostel is literally in the middle of nowhere that is what makes it great, it is a getaway destination where you can kind of detox, well at least during the day as at night the place turns into a really fun party. I wish this place had a kitchen but it was not a big deal as the food served off the menu was amazing. Beds were probably the most comfortable i have slept in since my time here in south America. Emma the owner is very helpful and she does her best to help her guests.

Location is annoying if you dont want to just sit around the pool all day. Breakfast is particularly poor, with instant coffee and a large fly problem. I guess because they sell breakfasts they have no incentive to improve. The lack of communal internet access (I am not going to count those nonfunctioning tablets) is very frustrating if you are traveling without a computer.

Very relaxing place, the swimmingpool is great. Too bad it is so far out of town (30 min by bus)

Great location away from awful Salta. Beautiful pool and cool bar. Breakfast is pretty poor though and flies are a problem (but they're trying to sort that). Always things organised which is cool. Staff needs to be a little more professional as witnessed managers boyfriend being very rude to her and having argument right infront of all of us and other staff members complaining to us that it happens often...sort it out. Otherwise fab place to stay for a few days.

Really great vibe, loads of activities and parties. Beautiful pool and property. Amazing beds!!!! About a half an hour taxi or bus ride out of the city, which is the only downside. The staff are fantastic. Good common area with TV and movies.

If anything it was very good value for money. beds were great as were the toilets and showers, however there were lots of flies, which made eating the free breakfast impossible. There were no lockers, but it didn't feel unsafe. The staff were helpful and friendly but tried a little too hard to have 'fun', so if you want to get drunk and party this is the place for you. The meals were actually very good and value for money, but don't expect to experience Salta by staying here (except the clubs!)

The location of this hostel is great, surrounded by hills and an easy bus ride into town it's perfect if you want to stay just outside of the city. The staff work really hard to include everyone and keep everyone entertained, especially Frenchie and Katie, and the pool is a major bonus. The rooms are big and airy with the best beds we've stayed in so far! Such a bargain too, definitely worth the bus fare.

We spent 8 days at Loki Salta and really enjoyed it! The hostel has excellent facilities. The staff are very friendly and made us feel totally at home. Food is good, especially our Christmas dinner and the evening communal meals. Entertainment was social, well done and fun. One of our favourite hostel of a 8 month trip throughout South America. Would stay again!

Hands down the best hostel we stayed at for the whole of our South American travels! Spent 4 days over Xmas, great location out of Salta and in the countryside with the cabins and main hacienda/social area, as well as the swimming pool! The staff couldn't have been friendlier and made sure everyone was enjoying their stay -led to a messy few nights! The Xmas dinner was amazing and the partying was well up to Loki standards! Thanks to Emma and the rest of the staff and travellers for a sick time!
