Lollipop hostel is so so lovely and June, the owner is incredibly helpful. She told me all the places to check out ranging from hikes to bars and even wine shops. Maribor has a beautiful country side and I would recommend that anyone traveling through make a stop if even for a night! Hostels like this one are what make me love traveling.

This is a nice small (14 bed) hostel very close the the Maribor railway station. At check-in June provided a map and gave me lots of recommendations on what to see, do, eat and drink in Maribor.

It was soooooo cold there, the heater didn't work so good, we were in a four people room, cold, next to the living room with a transparent glasses door. It means, if you wanted to sleep or change your clothes and there are people watching tv or having a party is impossible! Expensive

This is a great little hostel! June, the owner, is so lovely - she gave me loads of information on things to do and marked them all out on a city map. The hostel is small but cosy, with a big kitchen and a comfy lounge area full of couches, a TV, a computer and a book shelf. Free wifi too! Well located - close to the train station, supermarket, and the centre of the city (about 5-10 minute walk). Maribor is small so it's not difficult to get around. Would definitely stay here again!
