Good location, not very clean, no reception and quite expensive for what you get in compare with other slovenia hostel. Hostel owner lives in hostel (flat), what can be sometimes useful.

Lollipop hostel is perfect, odlično (in Slovene)! Run by a warm and welcoming British lady called June. Definitely take up her offer of telling you where the good view points, attractions, cafe, clubs etc are, Maribor is a great city but may not seem like that without some local knowledge. Enjoy!

The hostel was extremely well managed and well organised,shared facilities were excellent,the hostelier, June,was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her to go out of her way for myselfN,I found the area and town to be full of surprisesothing was too much trouble at all,the beds were very comfy,I Wish i could have stayed much longer,Il be definatelty be back in the spring for a longer stay,10/10 and excellent hostel,highly recommended........:)
