Cutest hostel I've stayed at! The staff are friendly. We stayed on a Wednesday night so we were provided with a free dinner... Was to die for! The common room is adorable and homely making a great atmosphere to meet new people. A bit of a hike from the main station but overall a great stay!

Good hostel. Excellent free Sunday meal. Really enjoyed using the bikes which are available for free. Location is excellent for visiting bars in the evenings but not so good for sightseeing during the day, however the aforementioned bikes solve this problem.

Amazing vegetarian dinner on Sunday compliments of the hostel! Good way to have a chat and meet people. Hippie kind of atmos so don't expect anything glamorous, just a really chilled out space. Close to great bars, cafes and boutiques

easily one of the best hostels ever. Its cozy and feels a little bit like home. The staff were really great, very helpful ! The rooms were also really good but its the common space and location that made me fall for this place. The location is in new town - about 20 min walk from the main sites - but this area is where you want to really explore - at night and during the day. The common space is great for meeting new people and the sunday night hostel dinner was unreal ! wish I stayed longer !

Great hostel, good atmosphere.

Lots of character in this hostel, but common areas were cramped. A group of Erasmus students & a few odd characters living there while looking for apartments. Staff nice, but not involved. Good info on transport and what to see/do. Not in the old town, but a cool area which is better for restaurants/nightlife. Good wifi (username login can be a pain). Laundry €5. Free (veg) spaghetti dinner appreciated. Shower stall doors were clear glass and in same room as a toilet, so minimal privacy.

I don't want to give it such a low rating, but location is a bit frustrating to deal with in proximity to the main tourist stops and the small, iffy lockers were a bit worrysome. That said, the atmosphere was great, we enjoyed "bring your own meat" barbecue night and the close quarters in the commom room made it easy to get to meet people.

The best hostel I've ever been

Not a place to meet other people. However, the location is quite good: nearby to restaurants and nice bars, as well as a park, and about 30 minutes walk from the main sights. Nice rooms. Enough restrooms, but they lack some privacy. Staff is helpful, but professional - it seems they are not very much into it. Good option for Dresden, however.

The wifi was a little inconvenient, it would be better for a password that lasted 72hrs without having to disconnect and reconnect consistently, staff were really really friendly. Rooms had cool decorations, and we laid out in an ok way. Powerpoints and lights at each bed was great. Really good kitchen facilities. A little far away from the old city to be considered convenient, but lovely hostel none the less.

Best hostel i know in geemany. Everyone on the staff make you feel home. Athmosphere was amazing. I miss that place already.

Awesome hostel with lots of fun and interesting people from everywhere around the world. It was a little bit expensive but it was cool.

Very nice hostel in a good location close to restaurants and bars. They had a free, substantial vegetarian dinner when I stayed on a Wednesday night that brought all the guests together and created a nice atmosphere. I'd stay here again!

I had a great stay at Lolis Homestay. its located next to the street (Görlitzerstraße) with bars and stuff like that at Neustadt quarter. The Staff was really nice and warm welcoming. I think the like people because they had a different programm (free german course for example ) every day and the even cooked for us one dinner for free. the breakfast is cheap and good the beds clean and comfortable

Lovely atmosphere, very relaxed. Had use of a great kitchen, and lots of free extras, like an occasional dinner or a German lesson. Staff very kind and helpful. Bathrooms weren't filthy, which is unusual in a hostel.

Close to the people, close to the hearth of the city, feeling welcome. This hostel was the best of my journey.

everything was good, except the room itself. we got a tiny room with a bed you need to climb to get to, and was too close to the ceiling. also, the room didn't small good. other than that , the atmosphere and location were great. staff was really helpful. and the free dinner was delicious, although we were the last to come, and there was not enough food left:/ you also had to pay for sheats (and the price doubles if you're a couple), towels, and city taxes.

Facilities like free bike hire was so good, and an amazing way to see Dresden. However, little things in this hostel put me off, like the poor bathroom on level 2 that desperately needs a complete redesign. All in all, is hostel was cozy and homely and in a really cool part of town. Would stay again without question. Also, the kitchen has sharp knives, hallelujah. Plus plenty of bowls and plates and all that jazz.

Surely one of the best hostels in Germany! Very affectionately variegated bedrooms, nice common room, fully equipped kitchen, clean WC and bathrooms, polite and helpful staff. Good program in the evenings, free WiFi, free coffee and tea. Unfortunately, the bikes you can rent (for free) are not really roadworthy. In the mornings and evenings, you often have to wait for a free washbasin, shower or toilet. The kitchen is quite narrow, especially when you cook while others are sitting at the table.

After three months travel, this hostel is my favourite. The look and vibe is great as it feels more like a boutique hotel than hostel. The rooms were clean, spacious and decorated. The bathrooms are the best I've seen. Definitely recommend staying here if you come to Dresden.
