Right next to a Tube station so that was great. The staff were extraordinarily helpful and extremely nice! Breakfast was great! We'd stay there again! Well done!

very nice hostel, only con is the location as it's quite far to central london. but there is a tube station just around the corner so it's ok. the rooms were cleaned daily, beds were comfy and stable. I very much liked the common area, they've got a fully fitted kitchen, tv, lots and lots of movies (they're free), fridges, and enough space and sockets for people with laptops. the staff are very friendly, especially the guy, who seemed to remember everyone's name even! i recommend this hostel!

We had a great time at London backpackers. The staff were always on hand and dealt with us looking a key very well! The hostel is very close to the station, and extremely easy to find. Only issue we had was that they had drilling going on which strangely had to happen at 6am on a Sunday!!!!! So we didn't get much sleep at all! Other than that a Sundaygreat stay ps: we loved the music in the showers!

some showers have 7 second timers...very annoying toilets by kitchen have 30 second timers....as you sit down, the lights go off staff are mostly irritated especially the owner tv has a broad line running over screen, remote hardly ever work No matter how long you stay, you will be charged £5 to leave a bag over night. toilet roll covers seem to be broken mostly. men's bathroom floor covered in water in the mornings. Bit of stealing going on fridges packed full, stuff in plastic bags, smells

Fantastic hostel, very well run with good security and very clean, the only slight niggle would be that the hostel is a bit far out from the centre of London, but as it is a minute's walk from the underground, getting around is not too hard.

absolutely loved this hostel, tried several in London but came back here, clean, cheap, great staff and overall a nice friendly atmosphere with loads of nice people. would really recommend to travelers its right next to the tube station and bus stops nice cafe next door open all night when returning from clubs or bars . the rooms have solid bunks none of those squeaky wooden ones like in some places and fresh linen. breakfast is great and FREE - wi-fi is free - can't really fault the place

It wasn't necessarily the hostel's fault but the crowd that were staying whilst I was there really weren't suited, it was mostly young students studying who didn't go out and middle-aged eastern europeans who were just constantly wrecked. The rooms and what not were okay but the people staying there weren't great.

alot of longterm residents which was quite annoying because they sat around alot of the morning in the small common area. I got covered in flea bites the second night we where there, the changed the sheets and washed the beds and i didnt get anymore. the kitchen is decent. Showers are generally clean and the hot water didnt drop out.

Staff was always cleaning something. Some rooms had triple high beds. Kitchen is especially inconvenient to work in. Breakfast was bread and jam, cookies, and cereal if there's any left. There are 2 common 'hang out' rooms. You can watch movies and eat or go down stairs and play pool. This hostel had a very humorous character. You can rent lockers for 0.50 pents a day and they provide the lock and key.

The staff was always cleaning something while I was there. The bunk beds are triple highs. They only charge like 0.50 per locker per day. You don\'t need your own lock. Much much character!! There is a common \'chill\' room plus another fun room down stairs. The kitchen is there but it is especially inconvenient to work in. Breakfast is bread and jam, cookies, and cereal if there\'s any left. Lots of food storage and 2 fridges. A busy street was right outside our window and it was loud.

It wasn't a very good place to say. Not a lot of "backpackers" manly long term residence. Pretty far from downtown but underground close by.

Had a really good experience staying in this hostel. Me and my girlfriend felt very welcomed by the staff and felt very safe staying . It is also very convenient for us to be 30 seconds away from the tube station. Would definately come back to this hostel next time I visit London.

The hostel was quite far from the city centre, but really close and cheap to get to from stansted airport. Had great character, with lots of paintings on the wall, but very small spaces for relaxing. The kitchen area was tiny, only one microwave and oven, for a huge hostel. Was great though that they offered free wifi, but only in kitchen area. overall the dorm room was quite small, but very clean. would stay again if coming in from stansted.

This is the kind of place that I describe as "alright". It was all alright, pretty clean, pretty safe, not a bad location, very casual in how everything was run. Considering how expensive London is, the price was really good. Staff were friendly, and other lodgers were nice enough. I had a pretty good stay, and would recommend this place to those on a budget just looking for a bed thats close to the tube.
