A cheap place not to far out of London that's a really great place to either explore London or relax a bit and talk with some of the long term visitors staying here. Kitchen does the job well, dorms comfy and warm, only downside was rather average showers that you have to keep turning on every 10 seconds and never got super hot. Otherwise great place to base yourself in London.

Great location, security and amenities for the price.

This hostel was terrible. There was a sewage smell on the 3rd floor for the whole week. The bathrooms were filthy. The rooms were cleaned poorly. Whenever someone moved a little in the bunk beds it felt like an earthquake. The hostel was very cheap and I got what I paid for. The hostel isn't near anything and The amount of money I saved on accommodation was spent on the tube to get to anywhere good. My advise would be to spend the extra few pounds and stay in the city.

The hostel is located about 30 mins away from central London on the northern line. The area is pretty dull and filled with beggars and unpleasant looking characters, fortunately the hostel is right around the corner as I wouldn't feel too safe here at night. Surprisingly there is no restriction on access to the dorms area except for a code on the door to each dorm. There are two decent lounge areas, one with computers and the other with a pool table. One bathroom, always a queue. Staff were cool

The only reason this is not 100% is because of the toilets.Just need closer monitoring as they were quite dirty.

The breakfast wasn't the best, especially serving cheddar cheese in the morning seemed odd to me!

The hostel was very dirty, no privacy at the showers. The room was too small for 15 beds. You can hear every noise around, even someone waking on the next room or on the corridor. It's far from the center of London, but with the metro it is not a problem. I didn't feel safe at all. Apparently someone from the hostel was arrested one of the nights.

This hostel was very nice. The bed and the bathrooms were clean. The decoration is colorful and the common part is very pleasant. The only and little negative point is that the walls between rooms are quite thin so it gets easily noisy when there are loud people around. I really enjoyed my stay and I'm sure I'll come back! It's also easy to get to the centre because the hostel is located just next to the Northern line.

I loved my stay at London Backpackers! Lovely hosts and a lot of lovely people around. The only bad thing was that I had to leave. I'd go to London just for the sake of staying at your place. And beautiful pics at the walls. :) Say Hi to Nacho from me if you remember :) All the best My Gren

It was a good hostel for the price. Very clean and great common areas. The only things is its quite far from central London (45 minute tube ride) and you have to pay to store luggage after you check out.

Basic hostel, clean rooms and kitchen, good beds with curtains around the beds and lockers under every bed, very handy, but bring your own lock! Bathrooms are not too clean but always hot showers. Kitchen and living room is quite small, gets pretty crammed in the evenings. But nice atmosphere and staff, TV and free WiFi in the living room/kitchen. Breakfast simple+good, toast, tea, coffee, milk, cereals, jam, cheese, butter. Location is not too central but literally next to a tube station.

The front desk attendant was really great and helpful and the convenience of the metro right there was perfect!

Biggest problem I had: I was in a room with my girlfriend, and someone entered our room while we were sleeping, because the rooms' doors have no keys, only code locks. On the other hand, the staff acted accordingly to minimize their error: they said that it was their fault (as one of them had forgotten to change the code) and they showed us the recordings of the security camera. Thee room was small, had no windows and the breakfast is poor. As it is in Zone 4 the transport gets more expensive.

Hostel is pretty far away from most all of the attractions, but it is very close (less than 2 minute walk) from a tube station. Staff were friendly, and hostel had a great environment; there is a tv room where they have over 100 VHS movies, and a basement with a pool table. Beds are nice and each one has its own night light, two USB outlets, at least two regular outlets, and a curtain to block light.

You pay, you sleep, you leave, most of the people in the hostel spoke Spanish, the staff appeared to be half Spanish and spoke with Spanish people only, the rest were too quiet or just not interested in interacting, living room was too small, so was kitchen, same people hogging the tv, pool area had people hogging the tv and music, wifi worked well in living room but not the room! Triple bunk beds are a bit much!
