Very kind and helpful staffs. Hostel is good, clear and very very close to underground. Despite that only young people lives there the hostel is quiet. We really was pleasant to spend time staying over there. Best regards from Olita&Jekaterina

This place is very, very far out of London. The money you save on your accommodation will be going towards your underground fare. Other than that, there are many good things about this hostel; charging stations in the beds, bathrooms are set up for convenience, lockable cages in the rooms. The tube station is right across the street, but again, keep in mind you are not close to the city centre whatsoever.

Breakfast was a bit crappy, but the staff was nice and the rooms hot but clean. Surprisingly good hostel for not much money.

The location is very far from the city centre- quite a mission to get anywhere and especially to get home after a night out. Breakfast was good, very safe lockers to store your things. But socially the place is lacking, it's very hard to make friends and everyone very much keeps to themselves! Wouldn't recommend as a solo traveller

This hostel was an excellent price for my stay in London. While it's a little way out of the city, it's directly across from the metro so it's no problem. Place felt secure and staff were very helpful. Atmosphere was decent although everyone seemed to have a cold! Showers and toilets were great. Breakfast was modest but still appreciated. Bed was comfy and large locker underneath is handy, and the built-in USB and wall chargers are awesome, many hostels lack this. Overall recommended! Thanks!

The kitchen was a bit small for the amount of people who wanted breakfast in the morning. Don't expect too much from that by the way, it was just toast and cereal. But that was good value for my money because it wasn't expensive at all.

Great little room and comfy bed. Perfect for a stop over while travelling. Very friendly staff and room security code locked gave me extra peace of mind while leaving my stuff in the room.

While being a bit more out of the way than what we were hoping for -about a half hour ride on the underground to the downtown core- the facilities were good (24hour reception, laundry, always an available shower) and the rooms were clean. The only downside was that the other people in the hostel tended to keep to themselves, so if you are looking to meet and hang out with fellow travelers this might not be the place for you.

Huge movie selection! No problems with it being dirty or loud. Right off the tube and there are plenty of food places in walking distance. If I return to london, I will be staying here again.

Although the hostel is named "London backpackers" it is definitely not a hostel for backpackers. I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm which was just 3 bunk beds crammed into a room about the size of closet. My roommates were not travelers but middle aged men living in the dorm and looking for work in London. The atmosphere was very gloomy and trying to talk to others staying in the hostel was like pulling teeth. The kitchen was decent and super close to markets & the tram.

not so clean

facilities were excellent but I didn't really enjoy the hostel, the atmosphere wasn't as interesting and lively like other hostels I've been to. everybody just seems to mind their business. unfortunately i'm direct opposite of that

Location was right beside the tube, but is far from anything central. Staff seemed a little hostile, although I got mixed feelings about different staff. Showers were clean (no doors, just curtain) and breakfast (free) was pretty decent. Beds were comfortable but triple decker, so you could really feel the movement of each person. Luggage storage under the bed (not big enough for luggage but otherwise ok) has a spring which is nice because 1) less noise 2) it won't wham the head by accident.
