I loved my stay at Miss Long's Guesthouse. It was quiet, clean, and the staff were amazing. I wish I was back there already. Would definitely recommend it. Had great tours that were reasonably priced too and Miss Long would go above and beyond to help you with anything. I never saw her not smiling. Mr Long is also very funny haha.

I absolutely LOVE Mrs. Long! I felt like she was my home away from home mom. Had such a good time in the hostel and made some really good friends.

The staff was very very friendly, something that I rarely found in Vietnam. I stayed in the dorm room which has actual beds not bunk beds. Nice location, though the map is a bit misleading. Great place to stay overall.

I will say that this guesthouse treat us like a familymembers. I will recomend it to all who like hospitality rather than 5 star hotel. Thanks to Long family for lots of smile and we come back.

I have stayed here before and booked again when my friend joined me as MLong is such a lovely warm welcoming woman who makes all her guests feel welcome. We wanted to stay again but she was fully booked, but she walked us up the alley to another hostel and got us booked in there. She is so helpful. Customer service wins every time.

I had a very brief overnight stay here transiting from a late night flight to an early morning bus. the staff was available when i checked in at around 130 am and prepared a breakfast to go for me when i left at 7 am the next morning! decent location on pham ngu lao, away from the concentrated backpacker area.

It was a great hostel to go to after the day long journey to get to Saigon. The staff seems genuinely happy and kind and are very helpful. One of the ladies walked out in her pajamas to make sure the taxi didn't Overcharge us from the airport. Breakfast was in the airy and cheerful front room. A small but good and charming meal. The rooms are basic but clean and spacious.

Really nice helpful and friendly staff, they even found us another hotel to stay in at the same price as we only booked for one night and they were fully booked the next day.

One of the best hostels i stayed in! The dormbeds are not bunkbeds, but a 5 bed room with very big beds, good matresses, a lot of space and a very good hot shower. The Long family that runs the hostel is so amazingly friendly and helpfull, the best service ever! Almost feels like a homestay. No better place to stay in HCMC!

Mrs. Long and her whole family just opened there new guesthouse still located in the backpacker area of HCM. The hostel is located in a small alley with no traffic (exept some motorbikes ;)) and thus very quite. Within minutes 100 of restaurants, bars and travel agencys can be reached. Mrs. Long made us a very warm welcome with lost of helpfull tips. Our (standard) room was not to big but enough for our needs and perfectly clean. We also had a window looking on the backyard.

My family of 4 spent 3 nights at Longs' Guesthouse. The service and tips from Mrs Long and her family members helped to make our stay easy and enjoyable. On booking we received an e-mail explaining which taxi service to use, instructions to give to the driver in both English and Vietnamese and how much to pay for the trip (US$8). Two family members were waiting to help us across the road on our arrival. Mrs Long provides very helpful advice on things to do and places to see.
