The family that runs the place is extremely nice - location is good too, but a little hard to find. Overall I really enjoyed my stay!

I stayed in the owner's second hostel directly across from the main hostel and overall I have to say I was satisfied with my trip. The dorm room for eight people was one of the largest I have seen in my time in South East Asia, which meant the room felt airy and spacious. I slept well and there was little outside noise. Even though there weren't many showers/toilets in the building, I never had to wait as there was always one free. Its not the most social of hostels.

Truly a home away from home. Great hospitality, great homely breakfast and absolutely great cup of coffee in the morning. Missing the homemade jams already!!

This is the best hostel I have stayed in overall in all of my travels. The family that runs this hostel treats everyone like family, assisting with getting around Saigon and always offering tea and fruit. The free breakfast was excellent, and this family even helped me when a motorbike man tried to charge me double what we agreed on. I have all good things to say about my experience here.

One of my favorite Hostels I have ever stayed in. The staff & owners are beyond friendly. They truly care about you as a guest and will help with anything. Our room was great. It's such a positive atmosphere and although the common room wasn't the largest it was still incredibly easy to meet and talk with other backpackers. Oh, and breakfast was also delicious. Stay here, I promise you won't regret it.

Only a tiny communal area is only criticism. Mrs Long is awesome, so friendly and accommodating. Room was very nice and overall a pleasant stay. All the hostels on the street were a similar setup and this is probably the best of them

A lovely family guest house/hostel! I stayed in a hostel room and, on a return visit, booked a private room; both excellent. Nice big lockers in the dorm and breakfast; all for about $10! Can't recommend it enough!

One of the best hostels we have ever stayed at. Our room was big, clean and we even had our own small fridge, which is nice to have to store your waterbottles etc. The staff was very helpful and helped us to arrange trips and bus tickets. Highly recommended!

A warm welcome awaits you. I was grateful for a cold drink when I arrived as I was tired. They are so polite. They make time for you by attending to you needs. I loved it when they gave me a map & explained that I could walk or take a bus. As a solo female traveller, I felt very comfortable staying there. The rooms have lockers & everything is organised. The only thing that needs to be done is to make sure the locks on the bathroom for one of the floor works. Because i don't think it works.

Excellent hostel experience. The Long family is wonderful. The room was a good size, the AC worked well, there was a safe in the room. The staff recommended restaurants and things to do in the city. We had a late bus out of HCMC, but they not only let us keep our bags there all day while we were gone, they also let us come back around 9pm and use a shower so we'd be fresh for our overnight bus ride. Despite being a bit tricky to find on your first attempt, it's a great deal. Thank you Longs!

Long and her family are are huge huge help! they are such a cute family and willing to help everyone. they cook breakfast for everyone in the morning which is very sweet. it is a nice family run hostel. not a huge social place, but a great place to stay. we were in saigon for one night, and this was a perfect place. the hostel is in a good location right near the backpacker street so you can still go out at night and meet other travellers. again, the staff is so nice and helpful !

Nice welcome with a drink and fresh fruit. Mrs. Long gave us a lot of information about the city and the sight seeing, realy great! Rooms are ok, a little bit old but clean. Location is in the middle of the backpacker area with a lot of nice bars, restaurant and shops.
