Was the best rated hostel in Ho Chi Minh City. But it was not on the level that itcan be the best rated.

I loved this hostel. The staff was especially amazing and took the time to learn my name. Duc seems to live at reception and is always so kind. Breakfasts were good with variety. I met a lot of travelers while eating. Free beer Sunday was a great social mixer. The tours were reasonably priced. I recommend the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta tours. Wifi was generally very fast. It was actually very easy to find. Just follow the numbers down the backpacker street, showing the address to locals.

Friendly, helpful staff and a delicious breakfast each morning. Well done!

It's a sympathic place for sure, the staff is very gentle, but I don't think that it is worth the best rate on trip advisor. Everything is okay, correct, but not more. So go, enjoy, but don't have too much expectations though!

Staff were very helpful walked us to taxis and helped is find things. It's a little difficult to find in the back packer area, during the day there is an amazing market on the street that is definitely worth a look. Great atmosphere for breakfast, though the dining area is a bit small.

My boyfriend and I were here for 2015 new year's countdown and everything was perfect! Staff were friendly and gave recommendations on where to go. Furthermore, there was free beer for all! Only thing is that it is at the end of the backpackers' street, which was slightly slightly inconvenient.

The omelettes every second day were the perfect way to start a day!!! The staff were also amazing and made the stay very enjoyable.

We stayed for three nights and celebrated New Year in Saigon. We really liked the staff and the room was great. Good hot water and nice and clean. I would surely recommend it.

Were welcomed by really sweet staff, who (since we arrived really early) gave us breakfast at once. The location is good, close to pretty much everything, but in a small alley, so it was calm and quiet. Unfortunately the good things ended there. The room (4 bed dorm) was really not clean. There were stains on both sheets and towels, rubbish on the floor and under beds. The bathroom didn't feel fresh at all and I think the whole place could use an update, since it felt very worn out.

We stayed two nights. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the location great! The rooms could use some refreshing but they are spacious and the beds were really comfortable. We had a nice breakfast.

The staff is extremely kind and helpful! Really enjoyed my stay here. In the morning you will get a delicious breakfast and the hostel offers bus rides and day tours. For only 200.000 duong(8€) you will get a full day mekong delta tour. You should take that one! I enjoyed it a lot.

Very good hostel with extremely friendly family atmosphere! Nice breakfast, good location and decent internet. Shame that the TVs in double rooms couldn't get reception but no big issue. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Would absolutely recommend Long hostel. Stayed there for three nights from 18-21 December 2014 and found the location, room and staff to be fantastic value for money. It is simple, clean and a great price. What more could you ask for?

We arrived almost midnight but they still welcomed us warmly. We had quite a hard time looking for it but that's what backpacking is all about, getting lost and enjoying being lost. Outside is a market but we never had problems when it comes to security. Staff were nice, breakfast is free, near party places in Ho Chi Minh. Liked the idea of having a swapping books area near the reception. Kudos to the Long Hostel staff.
