If I had to sum Loog Choob up in three words they would be..... Amazingly, brilliantly, fantastic! If you like your places with a bit more class and sophistication then this is the place for you. The people were so lovely and accommodating. Like staying with family. I can't praise this place enough, really. And anything I write won't do it justice. You have to experience it for yourself. I stayed an additional two nights but honestly, I didn't want to leave!

It was our 2nd stay at Long Choob and we got impeccable service. Really feel like being at home in Bangkok. The old house is tastefully renovated and perfectly maintained. Long Choob has the concept of simplicity with posh modernism and tranquility with oriental philosophy in the heart of Bangkok. we love it.

A stylish low cost hotel with excellent common areas. The only downside is that the location is a little obscure (about 20 min walk from Khao san road) make sure you print out the map provided for your taxi driver.

best hostel ever. only the location is the one and only minus for this fantastic hostel. but it's not too far from the mainattractions, just from the airport if you have only 1 night. fantastic staff, fantastic rooms. for my next stay in bangkok my first choice again.

This hostel offers very spacious and clean rooms with excellent facilities like Sat-TV, DVD-Player, Flatscreen-TV, free Wi-Fi. The rooms are not really hostellike, more than good hotelrooms. The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. You are not in the center, but only a few steps are 2 typically markets. The big minus of this location is the busy road. I can't close one eye the whole night due to the traffic-noise. And for just an overnightstay it's too far from the airport.

Loog Choob was an unforgettable experience. My partner and I visited Loog Choob for 4-5 nights and was very impressed with the hospitality, facilities, and general atmosphere in this quaint yet sophisticated home away from home. My favorite thing is the family-oriented history and feel this place has. The decorations and facilities throughout the whole building is top-notch. It's also very clean. It would be a fantastic opportunity to be able to stay here again - Jay and Rob from Taiwan/HK

This place was absolutely amazing! The room was better than any high priced hotel I have ever stayed at. The room has a very modern, sophisticated feel. The shower was amazing, the beds were super comfortable, and there was plenty to watch on TV (great for relaxing after a long day of walking!). The owner was super nice and gave me suggestions for vegetarian friendly food in the neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Very clean place with nice amenities. The library and DVD collection were nice additions. We had breakfast there (costs extra) and it was yummy. They have facilities for you to take a shower if you need it at an odd time (before check-in or after check-out) which was handy. The only drawback to this place is the location, some taxi drivers had minor difficulties finding the place. But the value of the facilities for the money are well worth while even so.

We had an amazing stay at Loog Choob. It is a very clean and beautiful place, the rooms are very modern, just as the pictures on the website show. Roomy, with terrace, big modern shower, flatscreen... Really worth the price, you can compare it to a real hotel with lovely family atmosphere... We felt really home here. The family who runs the homestay helped us with everything, from information to arranging transport and so on... The even brought us local snacks to try. I am definitely goin back!!

Loog Choob provided some of the best service and accommodation I've experienced. I've been to Bangkok a number of times and I would definitely recommend L.C. to anyone who is interested in a beautiful, well equipped, relaxed and clean guest house. The owners were very lovely and often went above the call of duty to make my two friends and I feel welcome. We also had a great Thai feast on Saturday night. The location is in the middle of the Thai suburbs between Khoa San rd and Siam.

An oasis where you'll always want to stay another day. Staff were really friendly and helpful, including styaing open for me when I let them know in advance I would be arriving late. Also very helpful giving directions and maps etc, and reliable when I needed to order a taxi for the airport. Really hard to find the place - not a lot of prominent signage, although if you arrive during the day and can orient yourself, you should be fine. Wish I had more time to enjoy the luxury of the new rooms.

We have stayed there for 3 days and it was a pleasure! It was very clean and we felt really at home. The place has a brilliant design and we'd like to encourage every visitor to see the chillout go up room to the 5th floor. Thank you, loogchoob. Next time we will visit Bangkok, we will stay at your place again :-)
