Looming Hostel is one of the first and onlyest environmentally friendly boutique hostels in Estonia.
'Looming' in Estonian means 'Creation or artwork' - that's why everything is in constant change here.
Looming Hostel offers a new artistic style of accommodation in Tartu - cosy, warm and clean guestrooms are all created by different artists - everything we use for decoration is 99 % reused! We prefer natural materials, small ecological footprint, creativity and fun!
Our guestrooms and large livingroom are located on the attic floor of Young Estonian Creativity Center - where you can see and visit different workshops, concerts, events, fairs and festivals. There is a printing museum downstairs, the building is also a home to a paper museum, wood-workshop, designers, taylors and fashiondesigners.
There is a kitchen for self-catering, with all necessary equipment, free wifi everywhere, free parking, large livingroom with hammocks, sofas, books and games.
Brand new hot showers are now located on the same floor as rooms!

Beautiful terrasse, no bunk beds in the 4 bed dorm. Very good. Showers and bathrooms a bit far apart, though. The style of the hostel is artistic, lots of antique radios and stuff around for a more bohemian vibe. It's a bit of a walk to the center and to the bus station. If you have more than 20kg of luggage better take a taxi. Really nice place.
