Very Quiet but very nice hostel. Staff very pleasant.
I was here for 2 nights and one full day. The 2 lovely staff on both night shifts were so friendly and really great girls! The staff member on the day shift was horrible. She laughed at me like I was stupid when I asked for a map and what there was to do in tartu. Very cold towards me and I really didn't appreciate the way she spoke to me and constantly sighed when I asked another question. Besides that the hostel was great!! Small enough to meet people, good terrace and awesome kitchen.
The bike rental offer is great, and it was located in a nice silent area. However, the computer could have been a bit faster..

This was a cozy atmosphere with a very friendly staff. They don't have 24 hour reception, which I don't like. I liked that they are a 15 minute walk from the city center because you're away from all of the crowds and you can see a little bit more. They are environmentally conscious too which is refreshing. If I return to Tartu I would like to stay here again. The only downside is that to do laundry you have to go to a neighboring hostel. But this one is quiet and cute. I always go for quiet ones
This small hostel was very tastefully decorated, almost like a museum of retro collectibles! The kitchen was small and the nearest dining area was out in the open-air terrace, which can get quite cold sometimes. Due to the design of the beds (no double-deck beds here!) it was difficult to hang clothes or towels in the room.
interesting concept ( kind of 70ies place), huge terrace although few were there. my biggest chock is the way customers is handled : It's not how a hostel should work. the room was awakened at 8 for a yoga lesson programed there. the girls from the reception were not responsible, but the owner showing very little respect for the clients who paid to enjoy a place and sleep as they wish.choices must be made, it's either a hostel, or a yoga center. the problem was solved with yoga on the terrace
Amazing hostel with a homely feel. Staff were excellent and provided plenty of advice when asked and generally up for a chat. Well equipped kitchen and nice lounge area on the rooftop. The only thing slightly letting this place down is the location, but only a 15 minute walk to the city if u don't mind walking. Definitely recommend this place!
Very comfortable place, very kindly stuff. The position should be better but anyway it's easy to go downtown with the bus or on foots by walking almoust 15 minutes. The place was g ood furnished and there was a wonderful terrace where you can spent your dinner or breakfast.

It's an interesting thing to stay in this hostel, because it's far from the city center, and it has got a bit "hippie atmosphere". In the house were the hostel is, two museums also located, one was on our floor, so some guests came to visit the paper museum and knocked on our door, it was funny. Everything is reuse, so the feeling is not really clean but this is a great idea.
15 minutes from the city centre, this bohemian-style hostel offer you a very relaxing place to open your mind! The rooms are really big and furnished with only eco-style oblects.
The atmosphere of this hostel couldn't be beat. The kitchen leading to that outdoor terrace was just unbelievable and the entire hostel felt cozy. The location was a tad bit far from the bus and university but I would rather walk a little bit farther to feel at home. A must stay.
Really nice place that is a short walk from town center so you can sleep at night. Lovely staff Triin was very helpful and even showed us around the town a bit after work one day. Quiet rooms and interesting but homely decor. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice and strongly recommended. I like their attitude towards the environment and sustainability but they don't act like missioners. They are just very nice and helpful. It's very clean and the roof terrace ist perfect. And it is just a short walk to the city centre which makes it quiet at night. Can't find a bad thing to say...
Atmosphere in the hostel was really warm and nice. The whole building is interesting itself having a museum and art exhibition. Hostel is situated in really calm and nice area near the old town. Staff was nice and helpful and I really appreciated that recycling worked well. I would definitely stay there again!
I had a great time there. The bed was comfy, there is a cozy little terrace on the roof and its only 10 min of walk from the main street of the old town.
One of the best hostels we ever stayed in. It has so much flair, everything ist very unique and the staff is nice and helpfull. Ok, it's not direct in the old city, but within a walking distance.
Great place to stay. Very friendly and helpfull staff. There was a screw up with the reservation because of HW, but they accomodated us very nicely.

Looming was a great hostel. Sort of hard to find, but you get there and walk up. Greeted by a very warm Estonian girl at the desk who gives us a tour. This place has a peculiar and somehow likable recycling theme to it. Private rooms have nice solid doors on them. There are 2 cabin showers and 2 small bathrooms. There is a small kitchen. Basically, it's a very homely place with comfortable rooms/beds and nice common room. Both staff were amazingly friendly. Strongly recommend it when in Tartu.
