One of the best cheap hotels I have stayed in in London. Located in a quiet street although it's just a short walk from extremely busy Earls Court road. It was all clean and staff was helpful. I will definitely come back.

receptionists shouldn't lock the door and sleep in the night. This is London. what a shame!

On hostelworld.com it does say a swimming pool and when we arrived we learnt there was not one and our floor (4th) had no wi-fi and our room did not have a trouser-press which it also said each room had. Other than that a very nice hotel.

The door of the room has no security chain. Also, there is no segregated area for left luggage. Guests need to leave the luggage at the reception (area of which is tiny). The public area of the hotel needs to be freshened up. The corridor smell like kitchen.

The website said it has a pool but it does not. Also it said Parking available which I incorrectly assumed to be free and close by. It was neither. This was my assumption not the fault of lord Kensington . Overall for value, location, and cleanliness it is brilliant. They are very helpful and I would def stay again and recommend it to others.

Viable option for couple or triple just wanting a private room, stumbled on this one as all hostels in area booked - at about 50pound cheaper than hotels in the area, clean rooms and 24hrs reception - good breakfast with pastries, fruit, yoghurt

Really great breakfast. I mean REALLY great--one of the best spreads I've had traveling. Wireless is extra charge not really an amenity--so it's a cost you'll have to factor in to the price, which is as far as London lodgings go, pretty inexpensive. I would stay here again if I couldn't find a cheaper place that didn't look filthy (most places at this price point look ragged and filthy, but Lord Kensington's is CLEAN!)
