More about the Lord Wosleley:
The Lord Wolseley is heritage-listed and is at home in its historic surrounds. Although the hotel is situated on a quiet residential street, it is only ten minutes walk from the city centre and Central Station, Australias largest railway station.
We are even closer to China Town and Darling Harbour, and an easy walking distance to Sydneys cosmopolitan inner city-suburbs Darlinghurst, Surry Hills and Newtown; famous for nightlife, and cafes and restaurants. Sydney locals tend not go to the city CBD, where most of the hostels are - unless its to work or shop. Once you have seen the major attractions our staff can give you local advice that isnt in the guide books.
The pub has been operating since it was built in 1881 and is much loved and for its timeless charm by locals and visitors alike.
The Lord Wolseley is one of the last real Australian pubs there are very few remaining, especially in Sydney.

Latest Review
Location is nearby fishing market, but far from public transport and other major sightseeing places. About 15min walk to central station, and 40 dollar taxi to domestic airport terminal. The ground floor is a bar, and rooms are on top of it. It is quite noisy on Friday night and the music keep rock until 3am, making us can hardly sleep.
