Beautiful house, very good location, really nice staff. Rooms rather dirty, but impeccable showers and toilets & clean kitchen every morning. Didn't connect much with people there though (most of them on long-term stay). A drunk english guy who started a violent speech on my first night there (about bashing out people "who weren't into sports" -football- "thus weren't real men") plus the fact that my locker obviously had been broken open a while before made me keep on-gard.

The bungalows in the back yard are great. The dorms are not very clean. Had a lot of fun in this hostel and the owner is very helpful and nice! Definitely recommend this place.

A house with character, familial atmosphere, super nice staff and only great and nice people in the hostel. I've enjoyed my time there!

The staff at the lodge was so helpful, even though we arrived after the reception was closed and long after we had said we would. The staff was really welcoming us and made us feel looked after, and we had a great value for our money staing there. They also had a Halloween party in the garden, which was very fun and a good way of getting to know people. Would really recommend this hostel!!

Fairly small size hostel with very helpful and friendly owner who picked us up from the station! Lots of nights out organised if you are interested. Chilled out friendly atmosphere.

Feels like home. Everything about Lords Lodge makes it the perfect base from which to explore Melbourne. I can't recommend it highly enough!
