It's OK. i didn't like it because i had to share room with a very veryy weird old stinky ass lady or man ( i dont even know what it was, he/she seemed like a homeless) Location is good.

very nice place, friendly people!! maybe it was only with me,, but someone in the bedroom kept leaving the door opened in the morning, and that i didnt like. anyone could go inside and you wouldnt even see. but maybe i was just unlucky, cos the rest was quite nice. also perfect location!

Great stay in the hostel! I really appreciate all the help that the staff gave - even when I was past the check-in time because of a mix up! The atmosphere and facilities were fantastic and you could not have a better location. I will stay there again when I'm next in Madrid.

They charge you for literally everything. Staff doesn't care about party going on in the hostel, so might get noisy at nights.

Friendly staff, they let me into the room super-early, way before check in time, and also let me have breakfast that morning. A nice, bright hostel with a cosy little common room, good breakfast, and friendly fellow-travelers. not to mention an amazing location.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a bit of food waiting for me in the morning too. I wish this place had locks though and cleaner showers. My bed frame was broke as well but they moved me to another bed. Very accommodating!

The staff is very friendly and competent. They always helped to find solutions and to give good informations. I enjoyed the breakfast, it was fine and well prepared. They pay attention that all the rooms are clean and fine. I could let my luggige in the hostel for some days. Everything has been fine, thank you to the chief and the stuff!

A fantastic, centralized location -- an easy and pleasant walk up Calle Arenal up to the Puerta del Sol, and also less than a block away from the Opera Metro station. The hostel was clean and fine, but nothing standout that would put it over the top. Unfortunately, the front desk is not staffed 24 hours a day, but they provide keys to the building and it was easy enough to get to after a night out. Like others have said, the large dorm rooms have VERY FEW outlets, so be prepared & charged.

Central location and friendly staff. Not the cheapest place I've stayed, but would consider staying there again.

The mattress quality varies considerably between beds. Be careful when you pick a bed!

I enjoyed my stay at Los Amigos. The staff was exceedingly friendly, helpful, and fun. The facilities were clean, the space was colorful and inviting, and the free breakfast was tasty. I was able to meet some friendly people and explore Madrid with friends.

This is a nice clean hostel, with everything you require for a break. However, does lack an atmosphere so if you're in Madrid to party I would suggest another hostel!
