It´s my second time I stayed at Los Andes Hostel, it changed a lot, Now There is a great courtyard and the common areas are super. Definitely this the best hostel I´ve ever stayed, excellent location, good breakfast, great people working there and staying, the nightlife is right up the street and is also safe and fun. Thanks LO RECOMENDARE A MIS AMIGOS Y ESPERO ESTAR PRONTO.

Great location and really nice staff. It's more like a hotel and I only stayed for a night, but I'm not sure if it's good for a solo traveler to meet other people.

The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean and the free breakfast was generous (eggs, toast, fruit, meat or cheese, juice, and coffee). The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about transportation and activities in Bogota, and the younger staff spoke good English. The hostel is located in a very safe area and is walking distance from a grocery store, a produce store, and a mall with lots of ATMs. I am very glad my group chose to stay at this hostel. it made our time in Bogota pleasant

We really like this hostel - we didn't really want to stay in the old town after hearing a few dodgy stories, and this location was perfect, right on the edge of Zona Rosa, making it very safe but also very well priced. It is not a party hostel, and the staff don't really speak English so make sure you have some Spanish skills! The thing is it doesn't need to be rowdy/party-ish as you are safe to walk to all the bars etc nearby, perfect! Homemade breakfast is also a massive plus! Would return!

I WARMLY recomend this hostal to anybody looking for the safest and best situated place of Bogota. The hostal is located at one street away from the famous "Zona Rosa", one of the most exclusive place to go out (restaurants-bars-nigtclubs) but in the meanwhile suficiently out of that zone to be really quiet at night if you want to rest. Moreover Geraldo and Carmelo will try to do everythg to offer you a GREAT time in Bogota. I came here to study and they even helped me to find my apartment! 100%

tHIS IS A VERY WELL RUN SMALL HOSTEL ON THE FRINGES OF THE zONA rOSA. It has very good security and the bathrooms are very clean and the water hot. Free wifi. Nice personnel. Neighborhood a little scary at first, but you quickly get used to it. There is a very big modern shopping mall and a Hard Rock close by.

The Los Andes Hostel was my third AND best hostel in Bogota and i really enjoyed my time there. Reasons: really friendly and helpful staff, big and clean rooms, PERFECT location --> 2 min to the Zona Rosa (not in the boring Candelaria), good breakfast (toast, fruits, eggs, ham, coffee or tea), only 50 meters to a big and relaxing mall (Centro Comercial Atlantis), only 5 min to the next Transmilenio station (Heroes) --> HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Saludos J.C.S

I stayed at this hostel for almost one month on my vacation in Colombia. The hostel was kept very clean and is located adjacent to the zona rosa which is a very safe and vibrant area of Bogota, filled with many exciting bars and restaurants sure to appeal to tourists and locals alike. Geraldo, Carmelo, Lisa and the rest of the staff were all very pleasant and helpful and therefore I would highly recommend this hostel to all persons wanting to experience the best that Bogota has to offer.

This place was fantastic! The staff were so helpful and friendly. The location was great, right near the Zona T, in a safe area, and walking distance to the Transmilenio. There was a great wine shop around the corner as well. The accommodations were simple, but really felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Very inexpensive as well! We got a double bed ensuite and the room and bathroom were both big and comfortable. They also had laundry service which was a bonus.
