The staff here are amazingly patient and understanding, as national strikes often disrupt buses, staying an extra day or 2 is never a problem. The hostel itself is basic but has everything you need. Noisy during the day (due to traffic) but peaceful at night. Centrally placed, the hostel is equidistant from San Francisco plaza, plaza de murillo, el prado

I had a single room with shared toilet facilities and I found the showers were tepid, in the middle of showers, it turned cold. Toilets were clean enough. Bedrooms were dismal. The courtyard was cold and unfriendly. Male staff was helpful and nice.

This place was pretty bad. Cold showers, really thin walls, a dog that barked all day long. PRO: The guy in the morning was great, I showed up at 8am after a night bus from Sucre and he cleaned a room for me so i could sleep. The night lady on the other hand, couldn't be bothered when i asked her if my laundry was ready at 7pm, she said 8 or 9, even though the guy said "listo en la tarde." I then overheard her mimicking me to her colleagues. Just bad. Would not stay again or ever recommend.

Hostel is hotel type, with every good and poor things included. wifi didn't work. But good choice for one night stay.

This is a great place to stay in la paz, its in a great location just 10 minutes walk to san francisco museum and the witches market. The staff were very friendly, rooms fine but basic. Only complaint would be that the shower isnt great, lukewarm water but that's pretty common in bolivia. We would stay again if coming back to la paz!

This hostel had lots of character, nice hammocks for you to lounge in and the breakfast buffet was served outside. If you need peace and quiet to sleep this is not the place for you - it's not a party hostel, more that you have lots of people passing by your room and you can hear everything. Regardless of that I would recommend this hostel. You can get a room with a hot shower but you will probably want a cold one being practically in the jungle. The bathrooms could use some redecorating.
