Cheap, but far from town center and no air conditionner in dormatory. Staff barely speak english, so minimal spanish skills are recommanded.

This place isn´t really a hostel, it´s a house which rents out rooms. It´s biggest drawback is its location: it´s a good 20 minute walk from Charles Darwin Avenue or a 1 dollar taxi ride. (Most taxi drivers know how to get here as the property has a sign now). The family who runs this place are lovely but don´t speak English. My room was comfortable, well furnished and I had hot water too. There was also a TV in my room and the property was secure.

Access to this hotel should be improved. Streets get flooded after some rain, and there's no other way to get to or leave the place other than by taxi. A bit too far from shops and restaurants. Very nice common areas but in need of a bit of mantainance and cleaning.

It was great value for the Island of Santa Cruz and the room was nice. The only problem is that the place smelled of dog poop due to the very cute dog locked in the garden and lack of attention (maybe its just me, but of the two hostels I've stayed at with hostel world, both had the same dog poop problem). A bigger drawback was the location...about a mile from part of town where you need to go for everything. Taxis are cheap but none of them know the place!
