- awkward neighboorhood compared to the rest of Lombok (especially after a power out for four hours) - no information upon arrival. Although the girl who helped us was helpful, we didn't feel too welcome - they powered up the generator but not for our room (the only room occupied) so we had to change to a non-shower room which was very dirty and had leaking pipes. "Same price," they yelled, instead of "Sorry!"

this losmen was really great value at the end of a liitle street but once you get there it is a pleasant surprise - the girls in the family speak great english worth getting the better rooms. about 6 in block very very peaceful. not far from waterfront but a taxi needed to get to mataram centre would have stayed longer but was prebooked elsewhere later

The place itself isn't too bad - nice, decent sized room and fairly clean. It is just quite far out of the way and not near anything locally. You have to get a taxi to everything. Also, the staff don't speak English (all communication is done through a young daughter!) and the wifi does not work in the rooms. The bathroom is also quite damp and smelly ans only provides cold water. Personally I think you'd be better off staying in the actual town of Sengiggi.

You can get very beautiful hostels in Indonesia for not much money and this one is very cheap but not that beautiful. We only stayed a night there and it was okey. It's totaly value for the money because it is veeerrry cheap and the staff is very friendly. But if you want a nice hostel with a bar and some rooms to chill out, this is not the right place.
