This hotel is not placed right on the map. It looks like it is close to the beach and in the old french quarter. It is not. Rather it is situated in a noisy cross section of two main roads. The sound of the traffic was extremely loud, also inside of the room. We informed the staff that they needed to do something about the misinformation on the map, but the told us this was not their problem, but ours. Spacious and clean rooms, but we got a much nicer rom in the french part for the same price.
