I would not recommend this guesthouse. - 7 or 8 dirty mongolian students living in 10 bed room dorm (they had there whole gaming computer set installed leaving no electricity plugs for other 3 people, smelled bad, lot of food in room, also occupied common room) - breakfast was not always there - internet very slow - dirty and very small kitchen - toilet seat kept on falling off

I good comprise price \ comfort. Welcoming staff even at 7:00 AM. The staff is kind and will try to help you even if some of them speak very little english. Internet connection is available even if some time pretty slow... But compared to the country, it is acceptable. Toilets and shower are a bit small but clean. Kitchen with almost every basic things. The cleaning is not always perfect due at that time of a group of youngsters... Great location! Volunteering possible!

Good hostel, stayed at Sunpath Mongolia prior and were very uncomfortable after owner got the sense that we were not taking a tour with them, would not let us extend our stay. Zero pressure from staff of Lotus and someone was usually on hand and helpful.

The location was great and despite the language barrier, the staff were super helpful. Unfortunately, I think they have bed bugs. I woke up with several bites and I got talking to some of the other people sleeping in the hostel and they also had bed bug like bites. :( If they fix that problem, they are a great place to stay at!

Shower rooms and toilets are spotlessly clean but the toilet spaces are too small it's a struggle to fit into them. One of the shower rooms need repair for water doesn't go down the drainso it's messy to use and not used at all. Sometimes the reception is not staffed for the staff is upstairs also tasked with cleaning and laundry upstairs. Staff is overwhelemd with multiple duties particularly the one left to take charge alone at night.

This hostel is a little hard to find, and the area looks a little run down but the hostel itself is beautiful and very comfortable.

Lots ofs broken items ie light in bedroom flickered all night...no light near computor and had to wear head lamp to see keyboard. Toilet door broken, only very hot watet in bathroom and kitchen, no cold! Only one shower for about 20 people...kitchen had good selection of equipment for cooking...staff very friendly and helpful....

Perhaps make a TV-room. If it possible to make the doors quiet to opening and closing. Sometimes it is very loud.

Lovely hostel, but the upstairs rooms are infinitely better than the cheaper downstairs ones.

When we arrived we weren't on the booking list, but were allowed to stay in a free room. Manager figured out the next day and everything was fine. Kitchen was very limited, can probably not be used for full self catering. Location is very cool, many restaurants an bars are really close. Comfortable spacy private rooms, two showers!!

The staff Sarul and beloro were very helpful and kept the facilities nice and clean.Included BF and Tes / coffee for 24 hrs. availability was plaesant surprise.

Good location, and the hostel was good overall, however it was a bit small and cramped and there wasn't much privacy. there weren't many other options in the budget price range and this facility did offer decent accommodation for the price. internet worked well and the showers were warm - some of the time. no credit card option, toilet was shared and was in the same room as the shower which made it awkward at times

This was my favorite hostel in Ulaanbaatar. After trying to get comfortable at several hostels that felt cramped, I was so happy to have a large common room available. This hostel also stands out because it has free breakfast (bread and jam), and a bathtub! So relieved that I finally found Lotus, I will definitely stay here whenever I visit UB.

Great hostel! The room we actually booked was already taken, so we got a free upgrade to their appartment. It couldn't be more perfect! Thanks again, we had a lovely stay!
