I stayed in Lotus Guesthouse for more than a week, and it really felt like home! The hostel is cosy, with beautiful decoration, especially the common room but also the dorms, and it is perfectly clean. The staff is friendly and willing to help, and the guests who where there where so nice!! I would definitely go back there!!Just a word about the arrival, I had no problem when I got there, I just rang the bell and someone came quickly, so no worries just give you arrival time and it should be ok.

Aside from a minor reservation snafu (the hostel didn't receive my arrival time from hostelworld and it was all locked up when I arrived. That issue got sorted nicely, though!) I have had an amazing time staying at Lotus Guest House. It's kept immaculately clean by the very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are nice, especially if you check out one of the traditional rooms. I planned on staying here 3 nights, ended up staying nearly a month. That should say everything you need to know.

The toilet is too small, almost can't sit on it after closing the door.

They have no door bell. When I was arriving I waited in front of a closed door. Finally a woman who wanted to go to work opened the door. So I managed to get in. But even knocking at the entrance door of the hostel brought no success. I switched to ub guest house. Which is really good.

Even though I had stated in my booking that I was arriving on the train at 6am (as did another girl on the train), there was no one up to help us when we got there. There was no doorbell on the outside of the building, so we tried yelling and banging on the door for a while. Eventually a neighbor came out for work and happened to know what the door code was. Also, the bathroom ran completely out of toilet paper at one point and the basket by the toilet was not emptied for two full days.
