Lotus was very small, quiet, and quaint. Those looking for a lo-key hostel to relax at without all the hustle and bustle should spend a night here.

If you live here, you must know how to take a bus. It's easy to get every where. The bus station name is Blk149 . From hostel to outram park MRT takes 20 minutes.

Nice small interesting place. Location is the unique part, being in a residential block past. Nice staying with locals and not touristy area. Bad part is that it's 20 min walk to the MRT and in the Singapore heat thats not good! The room itself is good, AC, even a TV and free WIFI. Bed bit hard, we were only there two nights but if you were there longer might hurt your back. Common area is very small and right outside rooms, so noise, should be closed after 10pm. Would stay again for short time.

Great place to stay on a budget, hosts are friendly, provides locker on deposit.

A very simple though clean hostel. The bedlinen were quite small, especially for tall people. Kind and helping staff. Very plain breakfast. More hygiene desired with regard to doing the dishes; we had to wash the dishes in the bathroom sink without any dish soap.Instructions of how/where to do the dishes were lacking, though this might have had to do with our rush at arrival. Also there were to few plates and cutlery available.

Everything is okay. It's just that you need to walk an average distance just to get to the Tiong Bahru Train Station.

The staff seemed a bit shy but incredibly polite and friendly still. The check in went unbelievably smooth and fast as if we had been expected for hours. We had no trouble at all and felt very welcome.
