We did not feel that the hostel was suitable. We did not want to stay 3 nights we had booked but we had to pay for before we could see our room. We told the ownert that we would stay two nights but wanted to leave after that 48 hours notice. He started shouting and threatening to call the police (!) He was so unpleasant and abusive that we left and found a hotel elsewhere. We ended up payng for the 3 nights tho we didnt sleep there once. Thoroughly unpleasant experience.

Internet only between 9am and 11pm. Because many of us have many hours (difference) with our countries this is a problem. And also because during the day you are not in the hostel this a fool policy. Just one western toilet and one decent shower is not enough. The shower, could be a lot better and they should provide toilet paper, minimum. Is not allowed to wear shoes in the hostel... But, how they pretend that we are going to the toilet, that is always wet without shoes. The place is ugly

We showed up in the evening having booked a four bed private dorm at love lane inn to be told that we would be moved to another guesthouse. This is unacceptable. Instead of staying in the quiet street of love lane, we were moved to a room facing the traffic noise of the main road. For the price we paid, the standard of the room was much too low. We were unsure whether our sheets were clean. The shared bathroom was run down. The general feel of the guesthouse we were moved to was run down.

We stayed in a nice room with window and AC, very clean as the shared bathrooms. The owner is a bit lunatic and the staff not very pleasant, although for that money is good value, plus it gets easily full so don't think they'll change their attitudes..

Rooms without windows and only fans inatead aircons - but for that money you shouldn't expect more. In spite of that I can recommend that place to all low budget backpackers. Staff is very friendly and the owner veey helpful he knows everything about city and speaks good Englisg. You won't find better deal for just 25myr.

The owner is nice and friendly. The hostel have many cheap traveling package and transportation, not only to Malaysia best tourism spots but also Thailand and Indonesia.

This isn't the worst hostel I've ever stayed in, the directions on how to get there leave something to be desired and the location marked on the map was wrong. The owner tried to dissuade me from useing the 3RM bus and instead offered to drive me to the airport for 45RM because he claimed that the only way to catch a 1200 flight was to leave at 0600, and even then he didn't think I would make it. Didn't see any bugs but was so paranoid of them I slept poorly anyway.

Over all it was ok but you would find cheaper and more pleasant places. I stayed in single bed room but it had open roof... It was a room buil of wooden walls without a roof so it was kind of noisy at night as you could hear people from streets.
