Just returned from Lushan - beautiful mountain village! The hostel is eclectic and cozy. Though there isn't much in the way of heating (especially for end of Oct atop a mountain), the beds are equipped with electric blankets, so no worries. The staff don't speak much English, so some simple Chinese will help you. To visit the surrounding locations (Five Old Men Peaks), the hostel can arrange a bus for 30 RMB a day, if you can figure out to ask for it. Recommended!

Not easy to find - Hubey Lu is actually not a street but a staircase that go off Henan Lu. Still, the location is in a very quiet surroundings. The staff don;t understand english but are friendly. The dorms are romms with 3 beds and are ok. There is a nice common area.
