We stayed here when we first arrived in HCMC. When we returned we stayed here again. Great location and excellent staff with good english.

The location is pretty good, but if you end up in the wrong room, it can be very noisy till 3 or 4am, so bring the year plugs with you! The stuffs are fantastic: patient, helpful, nice...

I had a really fantastic stay here, the staff were so lovely. The atmosphere was great, the foyer was great to hang around in and talk to the staff and other guests. They were really good and when we were checked out they let us hang around for hours while we waited for our flight. Location is fantastic, right in the backpacking district. I would recommend staying here. Cheers guys, it was a great stay

Really great location in an alley tucked away from the main tourist drag. Beds were comfy, rooms were great. The staff were super-friendly and genuinely trustworthy. Definitely recommend.

You will not find a friendlier place to stay. Just tucked away enough to be quiet yet in the heart of this strip Great value for money.

had a blast staying at luan vu during our stay there 7-12 january 2012. Bringing back home some name cards of the hostel for documentation. I told everybody back home how i like so much HCMC and Luan Vu. I recommended my friends to stay at Luan Vu if they ever visit HCMC. Thank you Luan VU, i will love to come back again ! :)

I would definitely recommend this hotel! The staff were lovely and gave all the advice we needed, it was incredibly clean and well maintained and has all the services you need - laundry, wifi, money exchange. It is an excellent location as well - just round the corner from 3 bar/club/restaurants, Pizza Hut (which is a nice break from all the pho you would otherwise be eating), beauty salon and a 10 minute walk from Ben Tranh markets. They can book you into tours as well.

This is a great little hotel. Right in the middle of the tourist area, but just down a small alley - so it's nice and quiet at night. The staff were lovely and super helpful, they also made sure people on the street weren't ripping us off. I will definitely stay here again!

I highly recommend you stay to Luan Vu when visiting Ho Chin Minh, Vietnam the location are perfect for me as it give you to more access in almost everything such as best thing to do in Vietnam where they are very near city tourist agency, the hotel staff are very accommodating and will remind about what to take care when roaming around.

Service - Beyond excellent. I needed a private car and driver to take me from Saigon to Hue. The hotel staff called half a dozen places and negotiated an arrangement for me which ended up giving me a 2010 Honda Civic and a courteous, reliable driver. Unfortunatel my driver only knew about a dozen words in English. Every time I needed to give instructions I would call back to the Luan Vu and the receptionist would cheerfully relay my words and report the response. It worked out great!

Great place with excellent location and good value if you are looking for a place with private rooms. Nice little hotel well located, I recommend!

a hotel rather than a hostel, yet quite affordable prices. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. The staff was very caring and friendly and helped us buy a bus ticket without being pushy at all though. Would definitely go there again!

Luan Vu was simply brilliant. The facilities were great and the pricing excellent. There were no exorbitant fees when boooking tours threw the hotel and the tours we booked were excellent. The water was the cheapest we found across ho chi minh. In brief, the location is brilliant for those wanting to explore district 1, the staff unbelievably helpful and the facilities superb. I would definatly stay there again

The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything we could need. The breakfasts were good although you had to make your own toast with 1 toaster so if there are a lot of ppl at bkfst, you may have to wait awhile to eat. Great location, super friendly staff. They allowed us to leave our bags in the lobby after we checked out while we toured the city.Unfortunately, the staff has no way knowing whether ppl are looking through their own bags or others' bags. Sum items were stolen from our bags.

WE THANK THE STAFF FOR THEIR KINDNESS. THEY HELPED US GIVING US ALL THE INFORMATION WE NEEDED. UNFORTUNATELY WE STAYED ONLY 2 NIGHTS THERE. WE WANTS TO COME BACK ONE DAY.

Great Hotel in the Heart of Saigon Backpacker Quater! Would book again!

Excellent service from staff, clean room and bathroom. Great value for money on room rates. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget accommodation in HCMC.
