Lub d Bangkok Silom Reviews

We enjoyed our stay in Lub D a lot. The rooms are very clean and the overall cleanliness of the place is outstanding. The facilities are also good, the shared bathroom was definitely the best one I've ever seen. The only minus side is the location, a little bit too far from the city centre. But if you're not in a hurry and enjoy using sky trains, this is the spot for you.

Nice place although a bit overpriced for the area. Silom is a bit out of the way if you're looking for the backpacking Khao San Road vibe. Taxis are cheap in BK though. Very safe and helpful staff. Would recommend the hostel just not the location.

Amazing! If you are looking for a place to stay in the silom area pick here! Staff is super helpful and kind. It is a little pricy but you are in a city, and within walking distance of the sky train. Super clean and spectacular facilities. I will definitely be coming back.

Modern and very clean with a good fun atmosphere all round. has a good common area with a bar. I stayed in the "railway twin room", not sure what the dorms are like. Close to the BTS station which will get you almost anywhere you want in Bangkok. Also great if you want to stay away from the infamous Khao San area and just want to hangout in BKK. Probably one of the best hostels I've stayed at.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lub D! It had a great location and we found everyone to be really nice and hospitable. It also had a nice hang out space in the lobby and theatre which was really nice when we needed a break and just wanted to hang out! I would recommend it!

In 10 weeks of traveling SE Asia, Lub D Silom easily has been the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The location, space, atmosphere is top. Most of all however, it's the staff that brings this place to another stratosphere. I've never been to a place with kinder, more intelligent, capable, and genuine people than I have here. Everyone goes out of their way, making Bangkok more than the mere "khao san" experience everyone else has. I came back twice and already miss the Lub D family already.

Lub\'D is THE hostel in Bangkok and our absolute recommendation... if you want to stay in a neat, stylish, clean hostel with very friendly staff, Lub\'D should be your first choice. For our next visit to Bandkok, we will definitly book a room there.

I am big on travelling and I used to stay only in hotels all over the world. Lub d is the best I have been to. It makes you really comfy. The theater is such a welcome treat. You can watch DVDs and all from their selection or bring your own to watch it 24 hours. I like the comfort, cleanliness and the quick response and great attention of the staffs to serve. We were even allowed to take a bath even after we checked out. They are that nice. Highly recommended.

I am a travel writer who travels the world perpetually, staying in hostels all over the globe. Lub-d, both the Silom one where I stayed this time & the Siam Square property, are the two best hostels I have ever stayed at. These folks really know how to do it right. The place is sparkling clean, the staff is incredibly well-trained, & the facilities are very well designed & maintained. On this trip, I stayed in a private room, but I have also stayed in the female dorms and I highly recommend both

Great place to stay in Bangkok. The staff was amazing and suggested such great activies and places to go. The rooms were comfortable with linens and a towel, bathrooms had soap and shampoo to use. Enjoyed my stay there 100% and was sad to leave. Felt like home away from home. I will definitely come back to stay.

very funky vibe and the staff will bend over backwords to make sure you have an awesome stay. also the theater on the second floor is super cozy and a perfect place to be a waste of life after a big night of partying! guests are super chill and I love how theres a guitar in the corner. also the showers are the best in thailand :)
