Its really clean and modern, and I guess thats what you pay for. Cuz its not really that cheap for a thai-backpacker hostel. You can get a decent hotelroom in that same parts of bangkok for about the same amount of money as one pays for a bunk in the Lub D dorm.

- The entrance to the stairs was open for everybody at the use of the room card was not necessary... - There is a lot of wast if you eat breakfast, for ex. if you eat cornflakes you get for each portion a wrapping which in my eyes is not necessary and would even be cheaper for you if you buy the cornflakes in a big bag... also the plastic knife etc... - But all in all, we really enjoyed staying at lub d and would come back any time!

Very clean and comfy room. Quiet and has a safe box. Rather expensive though in comparison to others.

The only thing I didn't like was that the air conditioning was too high in the girls' room.

My friends and I had a fantastic time in Lub d! We loved the environment and the friendly staff. Lub d has definitely made our stay in Bangkok a sweet memorable one. The hostel is unlike any other hostel or hotel we've stayed in before! The ambiance, atmosphere and setting is just perfect! We made the right choice in choosing Lub d and we would surely recommend Lub d to other friends. We miss you Lub d!!!

It was a very nice hostel, with very friendly staff, who is trying their best to help you. They helped us with tours, finding places on maps and so on. All in all, the hostel left a good image in my head, and a place that I would definitely consider strongly, if going back to Bangkok

Very friendly and helpful staff, I travelled alone and felt very comfortable and secure in the lub d. One point to improve: the airconditioning is very loud, and in a room with 10 people it's not really an option to turn it off.

This was by far, hands down, the best hostel I stayed at in Thailand. The staff were very warm, welcoming and friendly. I will definitely stay here again if I get a chance to isit Bangkok again.v

This was my very first time staying in a hostel and loved it. My biggest concern was cleanliness and I wasn't pleasantly surprised with how tidy the lodging was. Very clean, fresh, no mildew or old smells! I would definitely recommend to friends

Its a really clean hostel. Beds were comfy with reading lights, big luggage locker, and full aircon blasting! Perfect for the blistering Bangkok weather. The bathrooms were incredibly big and clean, equipped with hairdryer too. Its a bit of a walk to the nearest BTS stn, Chong Nong Si, and its a pity theres not much street hawker/stalls near the hostel. Location wise, its a bit of a bummer, otherwise its a good hostel.

Great place to spend a night or even an extended period of time. The showers were amazing and the bed was super comfortable. Plus, past 10pm it was pretty quiet!

The hostel's cleanliness exceeded my expectation, particularly in the public areas such as the shower room and toilets. They were always kept tidy and dry.

Bit too pricy for what you got, yes the rooms were spot less and modern but a double room doesnt need to be $45 AUD for one night. Next time ill go somewhere better location and cheaper for the same facilities. lovely stay but needs to be cheaper
