Lub d Bangkok Silom is a friendly, spacious and clean hostel located near Chinatown and Bangkok's main train station. It features quite a few comfortable extras, such as laundry facilities, an onsite bar, a cosy cinema room and 24hr reception, served by staff who 'will bend over backwards to make sure you have an awesome stay', according to one Hostelworld traveller. We like that each of their beds includes a locker, shelf, power socket and towel rack.

Experiencing Bangkok doesn't get any better than this, Lub d (meaning 'sleep well' in Thai) has its original location tucked away in Bangkok's culturally rich district of Silom. There you can take advantage of the convenience of the city's BTS Skytrain (Chong Nonsi Station), which is a 10 minute walk from the hostel. Those willing to explore will also find Lub d surrounded by an eclectic collection of shops, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Check-in, leave your backpack, and set out exploring Bangkok.

Lub d offers both hostel and hotel style rooms to fit your needs (PLEASE NOTE, THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN OUR 4-FLOOR FACILITY). Hostel lovers choose to take advantage of our economical mixed eight-bed or ladies-only dormitories. If you're traveling alone or with a friend and would like more privacy, we offer a railway twin room or double bed room where up to two people can stretch out comfortably.

Lub d dormitory: The 'super clean' 8 beds dormitory that has more good things than what you're looking for.
Lub d Ladies' dormitory: The luxury 6 to 10 beds dormitory in a 'ladies-only' section that offers more space and a large shared bathroom designed for women.
Railway Twin Room: A new concept room type, It's a perfect choice for single traveler or traveler who come with their favorite 'buddy'. This room has a comfortable 1 bunk bed room with shared bathroom that gives privacy you need, together with Lub d's lifestyle.
Lub d Double Room: A queen-size bed room with bathroom en-suite. This is a well-designed room, a real break for those who seek something more than a regular room in a box.
The safety features of the hostel are also among the best in the business with 24hr reception, closed-circuit TV surveillance, and keycard access to rooms and common areas. Each floor of Lub d is equipped with smoke detectors, fire alarms, and fire extinguishers to prevent and respond to emergencies.

I really think that we're unlike any other hostel. We're premium. We're boutique. Most flashpackers love us. We welcome all ages, but most of our guests are young at heart!

There is so much to do in our area - there's lots to see and lots to eat! It's very easy to go to the pier from our hostel if you want to travel by boat along the Chao Praya River and I definitely recommend this. We're not in the Khaosan area and that's what our guests like - we're in the much quieter Silom area. It's easy to travel to any part of Bangkok from our hostel, though. If you want to enjoy Bangkok's nightlife, it's all easy to get to. If you would prefer to stay in, we have the perfect hang out spot in our hostel. Personally, I think our staff are super friendly (and a little crazy sometimes), and are always willing to help you. I'm proud to say that we have a very high quality of property and this is shown through our well-designed building, spacious areas, free internet/Wi-Fi, and lots more. Another great aspect to our hostel is that we run various activities so there is always something going on and it's a great opportunity to meet other travellers!Hostelworld Guests Say
This is HANDS-DOWN the best, most professional, cleanest, well-run hostel that I've ever stayed at. The rooms are impeccable, and the bathrooms may as well be out of a 4-star hotel. I booked my husband and myself for the Lub d Silom on a deal--stay three nights, pay for two. the person checking me in (reception is open 24 hours) bumped my husband up to a private room for the same cost. Sooooo nice of her to do that! We had some of the best nights' worth of sleep during our stay.
