Guiseppe made some guests feel uncomfortable with his unusual behaviour. He was also not available to help find the hostel on arrival at the bus stop. Hostel itself too far from Taormina township, with no shops within walking distance and public transport too infraquent and finishing at 6pm. I really enjoyed my stay at Lucias house. Be aware that it is a little difficult to get anywhere with limited public transport available in the area. It is beautiful location by the beach and the staff are so friendly.I really enjoyed my stay at Lucias house. A great little hostel which is very cost effective compared to the town of Taormina. The owner Giuseppe is so helpful and kind nothing is a problem. He offers to take to you the supermarket and collects and takes you to the train station a really genuine nice guy. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. Itis situated in a small town with very little to offer; was at least a 30 minute train ride from Taomina town and an hour by bus. I arrived to find i was the only person in the whole hostel, with no lock on my door and as a female travelling alone was not impressed with the over helpful, irritating hostel owner who continued to knock on my door. Was very relieved to leave!I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. It´s about 1hour bus-drive away from taormina (we thaught it`s in taormina), in nizza di sicily. It´s a big flat and we slept in a dormir. no lockers! but anyway we were alone in this flat the whole time. at the last day a young women cames,but the owner putet her in another flat so that we had no contact and stayed alone. Owner is very helpful. the beach in nizza is with littl stones,no sand.a sleepy village, but loud 2 sleep at night because the cars,motos&people on the street. no aircon.It´s about 1hour bus-drive away from taormina (we thaught it`s in taormina), in nizza di sicily.
