Lucky D's was an interesting place that was very comfortable for the most part. The weekends become a frat party for the Marine Corps though so be warned. The staff were OK for the most part but I did think the hostel lacks a good open area. It felt kind of claustrophobic and it kind of stymies the conversation. The beds were really good. Really good hostel, plenty of things organised by the hostel for the evening. Helpful staff, very clean kitchen and bathrooms! Only downside was having to pay for the lockers everytime you wanted to lock it, although it was only 25cents, it was a bit annoying if you had to open it a few times a day. This hostel is located in a great area, close to everything you need. The staff are very helpful, and our stay was enjoyable. The free breakfast is a bonue and Barts dinners are amazing..don't miss them! They also offer free dinner sometimes. Can't think of anythin negative..other than the toilet roll ran out once and there was nothing in the room..This hostel is located in a great area, close to everything you need. Hostel is ok, would prob stay there again. They should take more care bout the regular guest, who r prob a bit bugged by those kiddo´s, who like to play beer-pong the whole night in the common room. If u like to watch TV...forget it on a sat evening!Hostel is ok, would prob stay there again. this hostel was great, friendly and helpful staff, the cooked dinners were great and the pub crawl was lots of fun. the location was grand, the bus to the beach was very close by.
