good location and great breakfast. Beds clean, comfortable with large blankets. Large kitchen. Had a good shower. Staff are helpful. :))

The internet was very very VERY slow in the room. It wouldnt stay connected at all. Also, my room was directly above a bar, on Friday and Saturday night it was very loud and if I hadnt had earplugs I wouldnt have gotten to sleep (the 11pm quiet time doesnt make a difference then).

I just would like that has more security with may baggage, maybe just a bigger locker will be enough.

A great hostel!

Had a great time at this hostel. This was my first north american hostel and i must say it was nice to have north american facilities! Staff were friendly and helpful 95% of the time! PERFECT location. Only issue was parking. Since I'm usually backpacking I wasn't expecting this challenge. Theres a parking lot right next to the hostel but it gets expensive especially during baseball games! All in all a great time!

Overall the place was really good. Atmosphere and cleanliness were great, and the neighbourhood is fun. A couple of the people working there think they are too cool for school, but that's to be expected in a hostel (especially in Southern California). Since that's my only complaint, I give it a buy.

Hostel was in perfect location and it was clean and decorated on each floor-it was cool to just look around at all the crazy paintings and posters. Shared a private room with my friend and right away we commented that it smelled nice in our room. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Perfect location and felt really safe. Fun free and cheap things to do sponsored by hostel. All in all, great stay and would definitely come back!!!

What a fabulous stay! I was super jetlagged, but the staff were so friendly, as were all the other travellers I met. We got free dinner because it was Thursday! The bathrooms were clean, the rooms were basic but clean and nice. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for some lovely company, great advice, and a fun hostel during their time in San Diego! Only sad I couldn't stay longer!

Great hostel in a great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have free breakfast every day and free dinner about every other day. They usually have hostel events every evening. Also had one of the best common rooms I have seen including xbox, wii, music, games, and.....netflix.

The staff were super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The hostel provided a number of events/outings,and were great in recommending other fun things to see/do.

The Hostel is good, with very friendly and helpfull staff. Glauber (viadinho), one of the staff members, was very nice in give us a lot of tips about the city.

It should be highlight that if you are paying by card that there is a 3 dollar fee, also over charged me which took until the next morning to sort out without little apology. booked a double room and when arrive there was no double rooms left so had a 4 bed dorm all this after calling them the day before to make sure that did not happen still charged pvt room rates. only reason I'd stay here again would be due to it's central location

Don't get fooled by your first impression... if your first impression is bad. The rooms are not that big, but not too small. The staff is very, very nice, always smiling and ready to help. The cleaning lady is also very nice and likes to chat to give advices. Free breakfast is very good. Same for the occasio, nnal free dinner. Met a lot of nice people. Good hostel for social life with the big kitchen and the common room. Would definitely stay there again.

Love the collage type art. Great location for gas lamp district. Bathrooms spotless. Breakfast not inspiring, but staff friendly and informative.

Great location a quick walk away from everything we needed, fantastic set up with an awesome vibe and staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved San Diego!! Only negative thing was the bathroom. Only one shower on the floor. Was hard to get in especially in morning. And with no mirrors in the bedroom and only room for one person in shower/bathroom made it difficult to do make-up/hair. Otherwise very enjoyable. Thank you!!
