Generally I enjoyed my stay here, however, I would not recommmend it to my friends. The place itself is nice if not located somewhat remote, this is not a big problem, though, thanks to good PT connection. Every morning, a basic but welcome breakfast is served, and staff are mostly friendly. The problem was that most dorms do not have nearly enough keys, resulting in us being locked out of our room at 2am, prompting the staff to climb the balcony (what I'd done twice already).

Friendly, clean, safe, helpful staff, excellent breakfast... Everything is excellent. Thank you to Lucky Hostel.

We were a group of 7 friends who spent 3 nights in the hostel. The atmosphere is like at home, you can play cards, play the guitar (5 strings...) use the playstation 2, use the kitchen to cook whatever... The breakfast is really good for the price that you pay and the staff tries to help you with everything!! Some polish people live in the hostel and last night we had a friendly conversation with them. I really enjoy my time in Lucky Hostel and if i come back to Gdansk, i'll go there again!

I was there first but not last time. Very warm and family atmosphere. Very close to the center. Only 5 stops and a very fast bus service. The staff and owners of very, very helpful and friendly. I loved negro hut on the terrace. In the evening lamp with a candle, and the wine has a different, better taste. Evening in the living room atmosphere is priceless. The fire in the fireplace, candles in the lamps on the walls and on stairs. I will always come back.

It is not a good location, far from city center, little bit noisy and not so clean.

First of all, its not a real hostel - its a cottage, which was turned into hostel by putting lots of beds into each room. It feels like you are visiting private house. Staff (most likely they all are family members, who own this place) are helpful, but furniture and bathrooms need some repairing done. One of the rooms didnt even have a lock...

a clean room, loads of hot water, really good breakfast, friendly staff..... what more could you ask for!!!!!

The best Hostel during my two weeks of trip, one hostel each day !

I had a great time at this hostel which I thought was excellent value for money. It was a good place to meet people if you are travelling on your own. It was a friendly hostel without being too hectic. Great breakfast in the morning. Thank you.

In this hostel, really relaxing. There is so friendly and warm atmosphere at home with grandma. On the terrace they did a'la African hut. In the evening the hut you can smoke Shisha for free. Without drugs! Hostel taxi is very cheap, but not always available. I will always recommend this hostel. This hostel is different from all the hostels. It is better, because the owners are friends to all guests.
