Family run hostel and feels more like a home. Great place to rest, great staff and nice breakfast too.
Very nice hostel. They were accommodating when we were late for breakfast and cleaned the room when we were gone. Book this hostel if you are looking for a good, comfortable night sleep.
hostel was more like an hotel. beautiful rooms. the staff didn't speak good english the only point that wasn't good of this hostel
very good breakfast. owner and receptionist were nice. shower okay. 5 minutes from square and main Street.
Great hostel with a very friendly staff ready to help!
Very warm and friendly staff, a family style hostel, located a few blocks away from the main plaza, I enjoyed my stay here.
We loved our stay in Lucky your house. It's more a hotel than a hostel. Breakfast was excellent and the lady at reception couldn't have been nicer. She helped us with tours and bus tickets and she had it all perfectly under control. Wifi and hot water worked well and our room was a decent size. There's tea available all day.
Only stayed 1 night as a stop-over. The hotel was comfortable, clean and well located, just a few blocks from the main plaza and pedestrian street. Pretty standard breakfast. Good wifi.
The owner, Valentino was awesome. We arrived on our overnight bus from Cusco at 5am and he was waiting for us. Out room was not available because we were very early for check in, but he let us into a different room to rest for a couple of hours before doing a day trip on Lake Titicaca, which he arranged for us. Also, having eggs with the breakfast was very good. A lot of hostels only offer bread.
Okay hostel. More like a hotel. Not much atmosphere
Really nice place with hot showers en nice breakfast! Room was really clean and staff was helpfull and friendly!! Would reccomend it!!!
Nice little hostel with all the facilities we needed for a 1 night stay. Super helpful lady on the desk that helped book our tour bus to Cusco getting a discount to the price we saw online, plus running through the main sites. Double room was ok, a little small but no problem. Kitchen was ok though no oven or microwave, just 2 gas rings. Breakfast fine and served early enough for the early tour bus. Good location to the main streets of Puno.
The staff here is great, helpful and friendly. It's much more of a guesthouse than a hostel atmosphere though. Don't plan on meeting many people here. The water wasn't very hot or consistant.
Had a very nice stay at Lucky Your House. They were very accommodating and friendly, and I would recommend this hostel.
The most lovely staff. So kind with loads of attention to detail (e.g. our bags were waiting for us in our room when we returned from our trip to the islands). Excellent breakfast - eggs, avocado, ham, bananas, juice, cereal, yoghurt etc. Cable TV in rooms. A lovely little hotel. Would definitely recommend.
This Hostel was clean and had a great location. Jasmine- the lady who helped us check in was very helpful and friendly. breakfast was decent, and the rooms were clean. If I ever ventured back to Puno I would stay here again.
Good place to stay for 1-2,nights if u plan a Titicaca Tour, a bit noisy a night. Nice breakfast with coffee, juices, fresh bread, fruits. Helpful and friendly staff. Room are clean with a private bathroom. Value for money very good. 5 soles from bus station to the hostel. Restaurants and small shops close. Can recommend it.
We enjoyed our stay at Lucky House. The lady on reception speaks good English and was really happy to talk to us and help us with our enquiries. We booked a half-day Uros tour through this hostel and it was great with a really, really good guide. The water in our shower was hot and we could get wifi in our room. Breakfast was also decent with bread, avocado, jam, fruit, cereal, yoghurt and eggs on offer as well as coffee/tea/juice. Would recommend for your stay in Puno.
OH MY GOSH THIS PLACE WAS THE CUTEST. Clearly it's a mom and pop hostel. Really great service, they were so sweet to us I felt like they were my parents. Definitely not a partying hostel, great if you just need a cost efficient private room and a good night's sleep.
Good location near the bus terminal and the plaza. Hot showers only in the morning. Free tea all the time. Good breakfast. Really helpful and friendly staff.
