Had an amazing week at Luka's Lodge. Extremely friendly staff, Luka is brilliant in answering any questions you have. The BBQ's are incredible, definitely recommend the place. Ben

We stayed in a private room which was a two minute (if that) walk from the main hostel block. The room was extremely clean and the bathroom was lovely. We had the shared kitchen in our block but a fridge in our room which came in handy. Luka was really helpful, nothing we asked him was ever a problem and he helped us get the best deals on day trips out and find a cheaper way of doing them. We enjoyed staying here so much we decided to add on an extra night. Overall: HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Lovely apartment, approximately 5 minutes walk down to the sea front and with a supermarket 5 minutes in the opposite direction. Nice and clean, with a balcony and big shower. Luka is very friendly and helpful, and a good source of info for Hvar. Lots of places in Hvar to swim or watch the sunset, and even more for partying! (The carpe diem beach party is a must-do, but bit pricey on drinks)

This place is great and the staff is very nice. Luka is so nice and generous. When we wanted to have a BBQ he drove us down to town to shop with us and when we got back to the hostel he did all the cooking. He even gave us wine and bread for free. Stay with Luka, you'll not regret it.

I wish I could have stayed there forever! This is a review that is long overdue but it has been a month since my trip and I cannot stop thinking about Luka's Lodge in Hvar! It was clean, the staff was nice, it was SO EASY TO MEET PEOPLE, and Luka is the kindest man in the world. Both nights I was there, we had a huge group go out to bars together and I am still friends with everyone I met there. I plan to visit them again soon and I hope we get to go back and see Luka!

Very good location and place to stay. Luka is great, he picks you up if you need and is very helpful at giving advice and directions, it's clear he has been running the place for a while. We cooked in a well equips kitchen and were looked after by Ollie, who is a staff member employed to get all travellers staying there together. Great atmosphere would advice and definitely the three of us would go back! Jess, heather and grace

Nice hostel. Only stayed there for one night, so it's not possible to say a lot about the atmosphere. Only thing that can be improved is the shower. The water would not go away which made it a bit of a mess.

Had a great couple days here. Bars, town center, harbour etc. is all walking distance and Luka is such a great host. Stayed in a 3bed private with balcony which was clean and had nice beds+balcony.

It's close to the Harbor, but you have to go up a big stair, which is a bit difficult if you have a heavy luggage. The hostel owner, Luka, is very friendly and you can call him to pick you up at a near bus station. The room was small but clean.

We picked Lukas lodge hoping for an opportunity to mingle with fellow travellers. On arrival we were taken down the road to another property where we did not have the opportunity to interact with anyone. We were told we could come back to the main hostel at anytime but when we did we were treated like intruders. Elderly lady who lived in the property told us to turn the aircon off at 9am on a scorching hot day. Not appreciated for €80 a night. Disappointed.

Booked a double room but ended up staying in the double bed apartment a few blocks down from the hostel which was awesome. no vibe or anything but heaps of space, a full kitchen and bathroom, even a patio with a great view of the stars. Met Luka once and he was a legend, we should have gotten more involved with Hostel activities (drinks nightly at 8:30) but as we werent staying there it felt a bit weird. great stay and value in pretty expensive Hvar

Nice place, just outside the main town away from the noisy night life! Staff were a bit disinterested but helpful enough. We only booked a double room with shared bathroom but we got an ensuite and balcony which was great!

We stay in a big room with air conditioner and fridge. The location is excellent, very near to the city center. Luca's a nice and helpful host. Good value for money.

Luka is amazing, great place to have fun, meet people and enjoy an outdoor BBQ and kitchen. Chris is great at keeping everyone lively and for nights out. Luka is so generous and sweet! I loved this place and my stay.

At first you may be put off by the location of Lukas becuase it is not near the center. However after getting to know Hvar town you realise its not too bad. So that being said..our double room was clean and comfortable ( but for the price we would have liked the rubbish bins to at least be emptied) The beds were very nice and not rock hard. The best part of Lukas lodge is Luka!!! He is kind and beyond generous. Endless tea, coffee, biscuits a warm smile and nothing is too much trouble.

Luka was great, and so were his staff! Always helpful and friendly. The rooms were basic, but clean. The beds are very comfortable compared to other hostels. It was quiet at night, but still close enough to downtown. The common area was awesome - we were able to have friends over, make dinner every night, and meet lots of new friends to go out with. A staff member takes everyone out as a group at night which creates a good atmosphere. Would absolutely stay here again!
